Good tour but ……

Not bad tour. Needs better communication. Initially was supposed to pick us up from hotel. No communication as to what time for pick up. In the end we had to take expensive hotel taxi to meeting point. The guide, Sergei was good but decided to change itinerary at Anthropologie museum from 2 to 1 section.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We regret the inconvenience regarding the pickup communication and understand how this may have affected your experience. Your comments are very valuable and will be taken into account to improve our coordination. We appreciate your remarks about the guide and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again.

We have a group of 6 people, 4 speak Spanish and we speak English. Our tour guide, Bobby was great in explaining things in both languages. He was very clear and made things very interesting. We had a great time.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad Bobby was able to make the tour enjoyable and engaging for everyone in both languages. It’s great to hear you all had a wonderful time. We hope to see you again soon! 😊

The tour gives you a good overview of the historic center and the museum (mind-boggling) . Our guide Eduardo was a firework of knowledge, is a great communicator and just a pleasure to be around.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the historic center and found the museum so impressive. Eduardo will be thrilled to know he made your experience even better — he truly loves what he does. We hope to see you again on another tour!

Awesome tour

Lots of walking, but worth it. amazing historical sites. The cathedral and the anthropology museum was my favorite parts.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear that, despite the walking, it was worth it and that you enjoyed the amazing historical sites. The Cathedral and the Anthropology Museum are undoubtedly two of the most iconic and fascinating places, and we're happy to know they were your favorite parts. We hope you had a memorable experience, and we would love to welcome you again in the future to explore even more wonders of our country.

Pickup was close to 45...

Pickup was close to 45 min late. Ended up a private tour. Guide was not very fluent in English and did not appear very knowledgeable - maybe also due to language issues. So a 5 hr tour ended in 4.

Response from the operator: Dear Rajeswari Kalambur, For us, your opinion is the most important thing. We regret the experience you had with our service. Our guide, Ricardo, is an excellent guide who has been working with us for several years, and this is the first time this situation has been reported to us. We will investigate what happened. To avoid any inconvenience in the future, thank you.

Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology cost?

+

Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mexico City Half-Day Tour with Museum of Anthropology start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
