Amazing experience.
What an amazing your. I highly recommend to anyone who loves Mexico and the taco scene. The food we experienced was some of the best I've ever had, and our guide was the best.

Save your pennies
This was very overpriced for what we got. The tacos and drinks were all delicious but maybe cost maximum $20 per person. I'm not sure where the other $150+ per person goes - we didn't get any stories or histories, and it didn't really feel like a tour.
Response from the operator: Hi Amanda, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts; it truly helps us focus on the details that make our company better. The price for our tours goes way beyond the tangible expenses. First, you booked through a reseller, and a significant portion of the price our valued customers pay (at least 30-35%) goes towards their substantial fees as soon as a purchase is made. To provide fun, informative, and memorable experiences, we work with highly intelligent and prepared professionals whose time is very valuable. We also believe that fair salaries are essential to developing a passionate and genuine team dedicated to making our experiences remarkable. Furthermore, the international hype surrounding the city we call home has drastically changed its social, economic, and financial reality; perhaps the easiest word to summarize this is gentrification. Prices, not only in touristic areas but city-wide, have risen dramatically, making it challenging for locals to adapt to these new dynamics. Overall city prices are much higher than a couple of years ago, so the costs of running your tour are significantly more than $20 USD per person. For instance, the final cocktail alone is often close to that value. We don't mean to hide that one of the reasons for starting a business is to generate income for the owners, our workers, and the community around us. Our goal is to improve everyone's financial situation and, with a bit of luck, contribute to a much better future by creating opportunities such as traveling and getting to know your beautiful country. Thank you again for taking the time to share your very valuable thoughts. While it might sound like a standard phrase, please know that every single comment genuinely helps us grow. We truly appreciate it.

Taco Tour Trio
Our taco tour with Pablo was a wonderful introduction to the local favorites on our first day in Mexico City! The evening exceeded our expectations and waistlines! The itinerary was just as described and food was abundant. We enjoyed learning about the food culture sprinkled with history and liked how Pablo individualized our preferences, making us very comfortable to try new dishes and drinks. It was an unforgettable and highly recommended experience. We hope to try another of Bondabu’s tours in the future.

Best Taco Tour Bondabu
Amazing Taco Tour our 1st night in Mexico City. Ernesto was our tour guide and the owner of the company so we definitely lucked out with having him as our tour guide! He took us to the famous Mexico City of Navarete where tacos originated in CDMX. We went to 4 famous spots and tasted a variety of tacos such as pastor, suadero, campenche, cows tounge, cheek and head!!! It was all amazing!! He also gave so much history on the neighborhood and how the tacos originated!! Ernesto is passionate and definitely made a connection with me and my wife! Definitely recommend this tour over others to get the full experience of CDMX tacos!!!!!! Thx Ernesto for giving us a great experience!! Rob & Chie

100/10 Taco Tour
Tacos are not the same after this tour! If you want food cooked with love and history and to share a meal with friends, then look no further….actually don’t even consider other tours!! Ernesto is so warm and passionate about tacos, culture, and history that we truly enjoyed every second of this tour. Any tour guide you have through this company shares the same passion for Mexico City and the art of tacos! If you have the time and budget, book every single tour with this Bondabu to see CMDX from a local’s perspective. Don’t be afraid to try everything!! It was the most delicious food we had during our trip.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mexico City evening street taco tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.
How much does Mexico City evening street taco tour cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mexico City evening street taco tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.
Is Mexico City evening street taco tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mexico City evening street taco tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mexico City evening street taco tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mexico City evening street taco tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mexico City evening street taco tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mexico City?
+
On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mexico City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
