Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience in the desert with the kids. After being welcomed into their house with a tea, departure in the desert for 1h15 of camel (1h on the return). Arriving there in a very clean camp/, the children had fun with the sandboard. Unfortunately the weather was covered, we couldn't enjoy the sunset and sunrise

Overnight camel trekking in merzouga
This tour should be on your bucket list, period. Starting with the wordless landscapes that you will see on your way to the transformative contact with the desert, crossing it on a camel while the sun goes down producing those orange and golden views of the dunes. The reception at the campsite looks like a movie scene, you have everything you need in your tent. The food, the tea, the music that the Berber boys play during the night, will transport you to stories you heard a long time ago. A special thanks to Rachid who guided us in our language (Spanish) step by step through this adventure. Don't hesitate, go ahead!
Response from the operator: Thank you for visiting, welcome anytime :)

Magical Experience
Stayed two night in the desert camp to explore the most of the Sahara. We rode on the camel to the desert camp and got to see the beautiful sunset. It’s a magical experience to enjoy the starry sky at the desert and to play drums around the fire. Apart from that, they also arranged for me the 4x4 experience (visiting Berber villages and the surrounding area of the desert) and ATV quad riding. They provided tailor-made itinerary to fit my needs and schedule. My guides Said and Aziz are helpful and friendly. They speak very good English (and many other languages) and they are knowledgable with the culture of Amazighs and the history of the area. They took very good care of me during the time I stayed. Highly recommend to everyone and I will definitely come back one day!

Best time with bestsaharatours
Stayed for two nights. First in a desert camp and the second night in a hotel in Merzouga. We did camel rides in the desert and rented ATVs for a few hours. Best experience on the ATVs as you get to ride big dunes and have stunning views of the desert during sunset. Highly recommended. beautiful night sky with Bestsaharatours!

desert trip
It was such a wonderful journey for us to get to Marrakech. We'd got a friendly tour guide, chill, and really helpful. We had a lot of new experiences there. It's unforgettable. We passed by the beautiful sightseeing and stayed at a luxury hotel, and sleep under the stars in a desert camp in Merzouga tho. I don't know how to express but this means a lot. Thank best sahara tours for this experience

Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Merzouga.
How much does Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Merzouga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Merzouga is not rushed.
Is Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Merzouga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Merzouga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Merzouga and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp With Camel Ride & Sandboard start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Merzouga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Merzouga?
+
On Outty we rank every Merzouga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Camel Trekking & 1 Night in Merzouga Desert Camp, From Merzouga: 2-Nights In Luxury Camp with Camel Trek & Dinner., Overnight in Merzouga with unforgettable Sunset & Camel/Quad ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Merzouga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Merzouga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
