Awesome Private Tour
My driver and guide, Fucjar, did a stellar job on this tour. Once we worked out the details, he brought me to the two temples and volcano. Unfortunately, the cloudy weather obscured views of the volcano, but otherwise, he timed things perfectly so there wasn’t any wait. He was super accommodating and extremely helpful in planning my next day in Yogyakarta. I highly recommend booking this tour, the private, individualized attention was well worth it.
Response from the operator: Thank you Shaun, for bringing happines to us, it brightened our day and We are really appreciate it.

Great day out, let the jeep take the strain at sunrise - why walk??
We had a great day out on this trip. Budi was a good driver and we had a good laugh throughout the day. The early morning jeep trip to sunrise point on Merapi was fantastic. We got very lucky with the weather, and it was a sight to remember for ever. We had a 9:30am slot at Borobodur, which allowed us time to visit another temple and monastery on the way. In contrast to Borobodur this was extremely calming. Borobodur was reasonably well organised and you are allocated to a guide, the group size is around 10-15 people. 1.5 hours is plenty of time and included about 25 minutes at the end on top for free exploration. Final stop at Perambenan, good although we timed it badly, arriving at the same time as a large school trip. We became of most interest to the kids than the monument! They were extremely polite when asking for pictures though! All in all a great day, a bit tiring in the heat and I would recommend not doing a night walk/food tour on the previous evening!
Response from the operator: Thank you Matin, for bringing happines to us, it brightened our day and We are really appreciate it.

SO MUCH FUN.
Bibis came to pick us up nice and early and the adventures began! Bibis was friendly, kind and attentive - we really enjoyed our time with him. First we went to Merapi Volcano and our jeep driver was INCREDIBLE. As well as fun, he was informative and a great photographer! After, it was a sleepy drive to Boroburdur - what a breathtaking monument. Finally a trip to Prambanan Temple to round off a long and fulfilling day. Great time with Bibis, everything was smooth, no hiccups at all and we could spend as much time as we wanted! Highly recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you for bringing happines to us, it brightened our day and We are really appreciate it.

i booked it quite spontaneously and was so happy that everything worked out even better than expected. The sunrise and the volcano were so beautiful to start with and the temples afterwards were just as amazing! Except for tips and food, all the tickets and tours are included which is great because i had nothing to worry about :) Definitely would do this Full day tour again!

How far in advance should I book Merapi Jeep Sunrise, Borobudur Climb Up, Prambanan Temple Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?
+

What are the best things to do in Yogyakarta?
+
On Outty we rank every Yogyakarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yogyakarta Private Car Hire with Driver, From Surabaya / Malang : Mt Bromo Sunrise - Ijen Blue Fire 2D1N, Borobudur Full Climb Up And Prambanan ALL INCLUSIVE PRIVATE Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yogyakarta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yogyakarta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
