Fabulous way to explore the sights, scenery, culture and people of the Mekong Delta supported by a great tour guide team

    Mekong Delta Bike Experience

Response from the operator: Dear Rider Thank you so much for your incredible review of your Bike And Boat Mekong Delta Cycling Tour. We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you felt "It doesnt get any better than this". It is wonderful to know you enjoyed the smooth, mostly car-free pathways and single tracks, and that you felt safe during the brief stretches of country and town traffic. We love taking our guests through those small hamlets, farms, and country towns so you can experience the warm welcomes and friendly hellos from the locals. We are glad the accommodations were comfortable and secure, the food was delicious, and that our professionally maintained bikes met your expectations. And of course, nothing beats that cold drink or beer waiting for you at the end of a great ride! Our guides and support crew will be so happy to hear that you found them to be the nicest people. We truly strive to provide outstanding support, from the very first inquiry with our responsive office crew at headquarters, all the way to the finish line of your tour. We also appreciate your note about the weather; that constant cooling breeze on the bike really does make riding in the heat much easier than walking! Thank you for highly recommending this trip. We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you and your friends for another adventure in Vietnam! Best regards, The Mr Biker Saigon team

I cannot recommend this trip enough

I booked this trip as I had a week on my own in Vietnam before friends and family arrived. I joined the trip with 6 other travellers. TIeng, our guide was fantastic. The other 3 guys in the support team were also brilliant. They took great care of us. Riding through the beautiful country side is the best way to experience the area and the culture. We had plenty of delicious snacks, fresh fruit and drinks during the rides. Book it. You won’t regret it

Response from the operator: Dear reviewer, Thank you for sharing such a wonderful review. We are thrilled to hear that you chose to spend your solo week in Vietnam with us and had such a great time riding with the group. It is fantastic to hear your praise for Tien and the rest of our brilliant support team. Taking great care of our guests and ensuring you have plenty of delicious snacks, fresh fruit, and cold drinks during the rides is always our top priority. We completely agree with you that riding through the beautiful countryside is the absolute best way to truly experience the local area and its rich culture. Thank you so much for your highly recommended endorsement! We hope to welcome you, and perhaps your friends and family, back for another adventure in the future. Fabulous company, lots of fun and a great tour

What a fantastic adventure! We have just finished a cycling trip through the Mekong Delta with Mr Biker Saigon—all the way from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh. It was non-stop fun, and the team supporting us—expert guide Tien, mechanic and riding support Nhan, driver Vu and food and drinks guy Thuan were the BEST! Kind and funny and always helpful. There was plenty of cycling, about 70km for four days, on mostly flat land and quiet local roads and paths, through exquisite countryside ranging from coconut groves to paddy fields to small villages, dodging chickens and dogs, friendly children and low-hanging bananas. We crossed many waterways on ferries and a multitude of small bridges. Along the way we stopped frequently for delicious refreshing snacks and drinks; we stayed in clean, comfortable hotels with good food, and had a very sociable time with the four new friends we met on the tour. There were stops to see temples, villages and a nature reserve, and to hear about the culture and way of life in Cambodia. We ended with the 4-hour speedboat to Phnom Penh up the Mekong (plus two hours crossing the borders). I was a less strong cyclist than the other riders in our group, who all had lots of experience, but it didn’t matter and I felt very encouraged throughout. Mr Biker is a well-run, efficient company with high-quality bikes (eg Trek MTBs) and good helmets and you are given tons of support along the way—we recommend it 100%. Thank you to the fantastic Tien and team!

Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.

How much does Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track cost?

    +

Prices start at $738 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.

Is Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cai Be Mekong Delta Tour: Cooking Class, Cycling & Craft Villages, Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta 1 Day Tour With Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track?

    +

Included: Private transportation; E-MTB available with a surcharge of 10USD/bike/day; Lunch; Dinner; and Breakfast. Not included: Gratuities; Single accommodation surcharge 70 USD/person; and Insurance. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 257 listed pickup locations in and around Ho Chi Minh City. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track offered in?

    +

It is offered in Vietnamese and English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Mekong Delta 4 Days Cycling Trip-Off the Beaten Track if the weather is bad?

    +

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.
