Unique tours Vietnam booked this wonderful tour for us. June, Martine were especially great. I got to have a Weasel photo. Nothing at all was a disappointment. The fish were amazing.Having lunch in a traditional wooden house was a surprise. I recommend this trip to anyone visiting Vietnam. This trip is manageable for most under 75. The hospitality shown from everyone from start to finish was impressive. Our guides spoke English clearly.This tour is an overnight trip. Actually need this time as soon as much to see.Lucky for us we had a small group allowing easy access to activities.Cost of tour is reasonable considering everything we received in return.

The disgusting service and worst hospitality

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for one night on 18 August 2026, on a twin-sharing basis. While the overall stay was satisfactory, our experience at the time of check-out was extremely disappointing and left us with serious concerns about the way guests are treated. At the time of check-out, we were asked to wait at the reception while the staff conducted a room inspection. After some time, the staff presented us with a bedsheet and pillowcase that had light-blue stains on them. The bedsheet was also wet when it was brought to us. We politely explained that we had not brought anything that could have caused the stains and had not stained or damaged the hotel linen. Despite our explanation, we were informed that we had to pay THB 500 as a cleaning charge. We requested the staff to reconsider the charge, particularly as there was no evidence establishing that the stains had been caused by us. Unfortunately, our concerns were not given proper consideration, and we felt pressured to make the payment. The conduct of the reception staff was particularly disappointing. A staff member named Grace, who had been on duty since the morning, was rude and unaccommodating throughout the discussion. I explained that I have 31 years of experience in the hotel industry and therefore understand the standard procedures and responsibilities involved in handling such situations. Nevertheless, our explanation was not properly heard or considered. According to them, each and every guest who wants to stay in their hotel first need to check everything, make sure all the linens are clean and tidy and all the facilities in the room are in working condition otherwise they will make pay. This is really disgusting. We made a wrong choice to stay in this hotel and suggest not to pick this for future travel.

An unforgettable trip

I’m truly grateful for all of Dany’s hard work during this trip. Despite the hot weather and the slightly awkward atmosphere at the beginning, he naturally took the lead, brought everyone together as one team, and never lost his smile. I would give him full marks for his attitude and professionalism. I’ve met many guides in many different countries, but I’ve never seen a guide with such an exceptional level of professionalism and class. He was absolutely perfect. I will never forget this trip.
