What time wasted!!
Friday 12/08/2022, my wife, 3 children and I went to Mega Safari in Hurghada. A minibus picked us up from our hotel (Serenity Fun City Makadi) at 12:30. We returned to our hotel in the evening at 7.45pm. The total duration of the excursion with the round trips from the hotel is therefore 7h15. We did 30 minutes of Quad + 20 minutes of Buggy + 40 minutes of 4x4, 5 minutes of camel and dinner show lasted 40 minutes maximum: that is to say a total of activities Representative 2h15 . We therefore had 5 hours of downtime on the 7h15 that the excursion lasted We paid 160€ for us 5. It’s expensive to get bored!!! In addition, during the 5 hours when we have nothing to do, they offer us drinks for a fee and try to sell us the photos they took during our very brief activities. Excursion really without interest: to avoid!!!
Response from the operator: Cet avis n'est pas correct car cette réservation ne passe pas par nous, il est clair que c'est par une autre société car nous n'avons aucune réservation à cette date et nous n'avons accepté aucune réservation, il y a une fonctionnalité erronée This review is not correct because this booking is not through us, it is clear that it is through another company because we do not have any reservations on this date and we did not accept any reservations, there is some feature Wrong

Mega Safari
Pick up at the hotel was almost on time. For our four people a second car had to be ordered, but no problem. We recommend safety glasses (can be rented for 2 €) and Bedouin towel (could be purchased for 4 €) It was a wonderful trip that was really worth it. Instead of the sunset (failed due to clouds) we were allowed to drive buggy. It was told in the Bedouin village about the culture, many photos were taken, the price for the video CD is also fully fine. Finally an oriental dance, unfortunately it got a bit cool - due to the weather For the price a very successful day. There was nothing to complain about.
Response from the operator: Guten Abend Ich danke Ihnen sehr für Ihre Unterstützung und wir werden in der nächsten Zeit warten

Exotic excursion
Lots of thrills on the quad and even in the Jeep through the dunes. Camel ride and visit to a Bedouin village with tasting on site. Dinner show quite correct for the price. Careful guide and driver. To do absolutely during a stay in hurghada!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your support

Nice trip on the desert
We had a very nice time with them... The guy bring us to the desert we drive for 30/40min,then we saw an amazing spot by the sea, at this time I was expecting to go to the beduin village, but at the end the guy just bring us back to the resort. So for 15€ it's really good but don't expect 6hours trip! We start at 10 and we finish at 12pm without camel, village and dinner! But anyway good experience!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mega Safari in Hurghada: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.
How much does Mega Safari in Hurghada cost?
+
Prices start at $44 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mega Safari in Hurghada take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.
Is Mega Safari in Hurghada worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mega Safari in Hurghada?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mega Safari in Hurghada suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mega Safari in Hurghada?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mega Safari in Hurghada start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hurghada?
+
On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hurghada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hurghada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
