Ribera del Duero wine tour with Ignacio!

We had an amazing wine tour in Ribera del Duero with Ignacio as our guide and driver. From the moment he picked us up he took care of everything, great planning, perfect timing, and a very relaxed experience. Ignacio is incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the wines and the region, but also about the broader history of Spain, which added so much depth and context to the tour. He chose fantastic wineries with excellent tastings and capped the day with an outstanding restaurant. Professional, warm, and genuinely passionate. Highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your comment. We are so lucky to have people like you on our tours. We are committed to ensuring you enjoy your experience as much as possible. We hope to see you again in the future. Un abrazo.

    A day to remember

We had a most enjoyable day with Ignacio. His knowledge of both the locality and the topic of the tour …. wine, was both incredible and fascinating. We enjoyed both of the wineries that we visited and absolutely loved the incredible restaurant that we had lunch in. A fantastic bonus, for us, was that our fellow traveller was both a wine buff and is presently studying wine as a subject. She seriously knew her subject and the combination of herself and Ignacio was an incredible plus for my husband and me. If you want to take a wine tour then I would give this trip a 100% recommendation. At the end of the day Ignacio very kindly dropped us and our fellow traveler to our hotels. Absolutely loved everything about our trip. Breda Nolan (Ireland)

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your comment. It was a real pleasure to have you and your husband on the tour. The group was really fantastic. You know where to find me if you come back here. Un abrazo.

    Memories for a lifetime

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine and castles tour with Don Ignacio! He shared a lot of history and context with us on the journey. The family-owned wine business on our first stop also shared about the history and their process, which was fascinating. The food at our lunch stop was delicious. The castles, windmills, and countryside scenery were picturesque and breathtaking. Don Ignacio took pictures for us so that we could be fully present and experience the moments. He was also very accommodating of our needs and comfort. I would recommend this tour to others and would do another Winebus tour given the opportunity to travel to Madrid again.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your comment. You already know where you have us if you return to Spain any other time. Un cordial saludo.

Personalized Tour of the Windmills with Wine!

This tour was one of my favorites we took during our trip to Madrid. My friend and I chose the Consuegra Windmills tour with wine tasting because I am a Don Quixote fan, but it included more than I even thought. First of all, the tour was a small group--which made the experience extra personalized. The vehicle which took us to the sites was clean and comfortable. The wine tasting was AMAZING. It is a family-owned, historic winery with delicious wine. We got to explore a castle, the windmills, and a museum. There were surprises along the way and a wealth of history. I highly recommend this tour and tour operator!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your comment. +We feel privileged to meet people like you who value our tours in this way. You already know where you have us if you return to Madrid. Un abrazo :)))

Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid cost?

    +

Prices start at $159 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Medieval Castles, Wineries Experience with Tasting from Madrid start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
