Great experience

I had the chance to go snorkeling on Friday, December 19, 2025, with an amazing team. Special mention to Mohamed, who showed outstanding professionalism and kindness. From the pick-up to the return to the hotel, everything was perfect. I booked through Tripadvisor and was contacted directly via WhatsApp, with fast and extremely professional follow-up. The boat trip itself was beautiful and very well organized. I went as a solo female traveler and was quite apprehensive, but I highly recommend it — it’s safe, and the warm, caring team made me feel completely at ease.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review 🌊 We’re truly delighted to hear that your snorkeling experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Your kind words about Mohamed and the entire team mean a lot to us—professionalism, kindness, and guest safety are values we take great pride in. We’re especially happy to know that, as a solo female traveler, you felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. Creating a welcoming and reassuring environment for all our guests is extremely important to us. Thank you for choosing us through Tripadvisor and for recommending the experience. We would be more than happy to welcome you again on another adventure in the Red Sea. Warm regards, Marsa Waves Team

A little crowded but we saw turtles and sea cows

Amazing experience! It was a little big crowded but our guide, Kareem, gave us the opportunity to swim again with turtles. Lovely crew at Sea Tiger boat.🐢

Response from the operator: Thank you for the fantastic review! We're so glad you had an amazing experience. We appreciate your feedback regarding the crowd size and are thrilled to hear that Kareem was able to make your trip so special by giving you the chance to swim with turtles. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to him and the rest of the crew on the Sea Tiger. We hope to see you again!

Beautiful experience

It was a wonderful experience, everything was well organised: punctual transfer, clean boat, proper equipment, delicious lunch. We managed to see the dugong from above and some turtles, they were stunning. In all it lasted about 6 hours. I recommend it!

Response from the operator: Thank you Beatrice for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you had a wonderful experience and enjoyed every aspect of the tour, from the punctual transfer to the delicious lunch. Seeing a dugong and turtles in their natural habitat is truly a special moment, and we're glad you got to experience it. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you on board again in the future! 🌊🐢😊

Nice Snorkeling Experience

The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the opportunity to swim alongside a large number of turtles, which was absolutely magical. The crew proved us life jackets and snorkeling gear. While we didn’t have the chance to see a dugong, and the coral reef seemed to be somewhat injured, leading to fewer fish sightings than we had hoped. The boat was meticulously clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the trip. The food served on board was delicious.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking time to share your experiences with us, marsa waves team is pleased that we could meet your expectations, We will be very happy to see you again. always remember that you have a family in marsa alam

Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marsa Alam.

How much does Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam cost?

+

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marsa Alam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam take?

+

Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marsa Alam is not rushed.

Is Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 96 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marsa Alam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam?

+

Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marsa Alam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marsa Alam and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marsa Mubarak snorkeling with dugong and turtles - marsaalam start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marsa Alam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marsa Alam?

+

On Outty we rank every Marsa Alam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Luxor Day Trip from Marsa alam (Private), Private Day Trip to Luxor from Marsa Alam and Valley of the Kings, Over Day Tour From Marsa Alam to Luxor. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marsa Alam?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marsa Alam?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
