    Family Fun in the Smokies

What a wonderful evening with friends! It was non-stop laughter from the opening act until the end. There are many twists and turns to the story and we didn’t solve the mystery correctly. And the meal was delicious too!!

    Give it a go!!

We attended a Tuesday evening show with 2 15-year old young men, my adult daughter and myself (Grandma to one of the 15-year-olds). We all enjoyed the show very much! The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The content of this particular show (Marriage Can Be Murder) was appropriate for all of us and we all found it very funny! The meal wasn't the highlight but that's not what we came for! I would definitely recommend it for something different and to support the theater arts!

Redneck wedding at its best!! Hilarious!

Hilarious! The experience starts as soon as you walk in the door when the actors in character seat you at your table and lasts until the production is over. The entire cast was funny, the way they get audience participation and reading lines was a great addition to the show. Marge was a hoot! Gotta say she was my favorite in this show. She ate crackers off the table, wandering around the room getting everyone laughing and excited for the night, before the show starts.Oh my, her makeup really reminds you of an eccentric old southern women! You know the one… Food was good. I got the vegetarian selection just to have something other than fried chicken. It was pasta with creme sauce and vegetables mixed in. The server was great and very nice. I highly recommend this show! We had a great time. Laughed the entire time. And the fact you get to help figure out who murdered who was a great addition to the show!

Wedding and a murder?! Table #4 had a blast.

A murder at a wedding?!? This was so much fun 🤩 Our first time doing dinner theater and this was a treat! Absolutely loved the small venue that allowed and encouraged interacting with the cast. If you are looking for something that will let you relax, be a little fun and silly while being thoroughly entertained this show is a must. And the dinner was good too. Would come back!

Marriage Can Be Murder: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pigeon Forge.

How much does Marriage Can Be Murder cost?

    +

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pigeon Forge usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marriage Can Be Murder take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pigeon Forge is not rushed.

Is Marriage Can Be Murder worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 223 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pigeon Forge, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marriage Can Be Murder?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marriage Can Be Murder suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marriage Can Be Murder?

    +

Around 78 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pigeon Forge can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pigeon Forge and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marriage Can Be Murder start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pigeon Forge within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pigeon Forge?

    +

Pigeon Forge covers Dollywood, dinner shows, go-karts and mountain coasters, plus Smoky Mountain hikes and rafting a short drive away. Show and park combos vary in whether admission is actually included. On Outty we rank every Pigeon Forge experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game Pigeon Forge: 60-Minute Adventures on The Island, Brian Hoffman's Remembering Red - A Tribute to Red Skelton, Crave Golf Club - Two Courses of Mini Golf. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pigeon Forge?

    +

April to June and October, with peak crowds in July. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pigeon Forge?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
