Kizkumu
The symbol of Orhaniye beyond the borders of Turkey is Kızkumu beach reaching out to the sea from the land on a shallow path with its reddish color. This shallow path that is formed by the division of the bay starting from the land as a result of dune movements is approximately 600 m long. Kızkumu beach has lately become a popular spot for touristic Jeep Safari tours. There are various legends of Kızkumu told among local people. It is believed that this beautiful young girl’s grave is at the end of Kızkumu. This place is known as Kızkumu (meaning ‘the sand of the girl’ in Turkish) from then on. When walking along this 600-meter long path in the sea, locals and visitors make a wish and believe that their wishes will come true…

Turgut Selalesi
The Selale is between Bayir and Turgut. Travel 5 kilometers from Bayir towards Turgut and you’ll see a sign ‘Selale’ by the road. Take a turn here and you’ll reach the ‘Selale’ by moving just 200 meters from the main road. This is not the largest or the tallest of the waterfalls you’d have ever seen. But it is pretty attractive and provides one a cool resting place. The Marmaris Waterfall is just over 4 meters tall and narrow as well. The area around the waterfall is a wide valley with forests and lush vegetation. This valley is cooler than the places around it and an exciting place to visit, especially during a hot summer’s day. The Marmaris Waterfall has ice-cold waters and you can enjoy swimming in the small lake below the waterfall. A 300 years old watermill near the waterfalls is an interesting one to pay a visit.

Bayir village is famous for its historical plane tree, ancient City of Syrna remnants and its Mosque. It is very exciting to take a break and have your coffee, tea or ayran (yoghurt drink) under the huge plane tree in the village square. There is a historical plane tree of 2300 years of age in the village. Old Plane Tree is very popular for the travelers. Take a photo with the plane tree and drink ayran. According to the legend, if you walk once around the old plane tree, it prolongs life. This is also written on the identity disc of the plane tree.

Excellent communication with Talha from tourmaina Picked up from hotel even When not on the list of hotels Picked up from the hotel even though it was not on their list of hotels Jack the driver for the day was great, polite friendly interesting and kept us safe at all times The trip was good the water pistol fight was hilarious Jesus beach was nice with a lovely shop and cafe -brought a few bits and ice cream Lunch was ok as expected but was tasty The waterfall was small but beautiful The day could’ve better if… A bit longer at each place But would recommend

Tour Disaster
The vendor was dishonest regarding the tour return time and we had to leave tour on our own, missing the included lunch, in order to make it back to our ship for departure, paying for the taxi on our own. Also one of us was declined admission to the waterfalls as the driver left prior to allowing us entry. Do not recommend this vendor as he was also dishonest with Viator on the facts of the situation.

Regarding the waterfalls visit, entry is managed as a group. Leaving the vehicle or tour flow prematurely can unfortunately result in missing certain inclusions. Our driver and guide must follow the group schedule and cannot wait beyond the allocated time. We regret that you chose to leave the tour early and miss the included lunch. This decision was made independently in order to meet your ship’s departure time, and the taxi cost was therefore not part of the tour service. Great fun , but water guns not included @200 TL each
When you picked up you get taken to a restaurant and they try to get you to book a table with special offers …. They are friendly just go with it … Water guns wars are a good laugh you need to rent water guns @200 tl each is worth it All driver are friendly and you get a good tour around … Water fall is small and very cold Lunch was chicken , salad and bread … chips were extra 150 tl Drinks available to buy A few stop off for breaks

This tour is not as advertised.
I thought I would give you an honest review of this tour so you know what actually happens! Whilst pick-up was prompt at 8:30 we were just driven round the corner and left in a sports bar for 30 minutes whilst we waited for something (not sure what). Bit of a waste of time. The first thing that happens is a water fight which is not even mentioned in the itinerary. If you don't want to take part, you will still get wet. This lasts about 30 minutes. You are then taken to a dodgy roadside cafe for 45 minutes for people to dry. A complete waste of time. Next stop is Jesus beach. Another 45 minutes is spent here but there is not much to do apart from have a paddle or ride a sad camel. There is no explanation of the history of this place, you are just dumped here and left to your own devices. Somebody else left a review and said this was just a glorified car-park. That sums it up perfectly. There must be nicer places to go? Next you are taken for lunch which is average (chicken skewer, rice and salad). There is no vegetarian option so my daughter had to have just rice and salad. Next we went to some watefalls. These were nice but again 45 minutes was too long to spend here. Where was the visit to the village that was mentioned in the itinerary? I suspect they don't want the jeeps visiting anymore as they all play loud music ALL of the time. I've been on many jeep tours over the years and this was by far the worst. We were bored and it gave us a bad impression of Turkey on our first day there. The jeep drivers are lovely, it's not their fault the tour is so badly organised.. You have been warned! If you want a party atmosphere then this is maybe the tour for you but if you want to see the real Turkey I would avoid this tour.
