Awesome on the water experience
I had an amazing Birthday Celebration with my Twin. I arrived 15-30 minutes before boarding. There is ample parking and the boarding dock is just a few steps from parking spaces. There is plenty of seating in the area to wait until you board the Brunch or Dinner cruise. The weather was beautiful on June 27, 2026. Not too hot or not too cold on the water. However, A light jacket is always perfect to have when on the water. The seating area they give you is perfect and it will always be your spot. I had a window seat. Seating is located on the lower and second level for food service. It’s buffet style so you can fix your on plate. I felt safe leaving my belongings at the table I was seated at while I walked about the decks to take photos, dance, and socialize. It’s a 2 hour ride. We start cruising the ocean at 11am and were back at the dock at 1pm. I did the Brunch cruise. The staff were very approachable, friendly, helpful and engaging. The food was delicious and a nice variety of food options. The drink’s provided with the brunch were plentiful upon your request. There is a bar and you can order other drinks at a cost. We had our personal server but you could ask one of the managing staff members for items if you needed something. I never felt like staff disappeared or wasn’t available. This is definitely a Gem attraction in my hometown and I definitely will be visiting again with friends and family. The ambiance was perfect for a 2 hour getaway and the music was lovely. I thought the musician/DJ provided a variety of music for our short cruise. I say get to having fun soon as you can. Before you know it you will be back at the dock. I thought the photo was reasonably priced for two photos. Why not take home a keep sake. Please remember to tip at the end if your service and experience was exceptional as mine was. Happy Cruising in Marina Del Rey, California. P.S. I called and made my reservation with a wonderful staff member. I was treated like a star customer from start to finish with my experience.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the positive review. Hope to have you aboard again soon.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santa Monica.
How much does Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $101 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santa Monica usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santa Monica is not rushed.
Is Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santa Monica, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Monica can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santa Monica and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Marina del Rey Christmas Day Buffet Brunch Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santa Monica within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santa Monica?
+
Santa Monica is where most LA coast tours start: beach bike and e-bike rides to Venice, surf lessons, food walks on Third Street and open-top runs up Pacific Coast Highway. On Outty we rank every Santa Monica experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Los Angeles Guided City Tour with 4 Stops and Free Time, Half Day Best of Los Angeles City Tour from Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills & Celebrity Homes Tour by Open Air Bus. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santa Monica?
+
March to May and September to November, dodging the June marine layer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santa Monica?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
