Great trip in my life
This was an amazing trip booked on the day because of the beautiful weather. We are so pleased that we did, as it was amazing. The captain, Santiago, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area and the tarpon fish. The boat itself, in my humble opinion, was the nicest of those available that day. A great experience and well worth the money! If you don't own a boat, I thoroughly recommend this trip!!
Response from the operator: Spontaneous bookings on beautiful days often turn into the best memories 😄 I’m so glad Santiago made it welcoming and shared his tarpon knowledge along the way. And I’ll happily take “nicest boat on the water” as a compliment! Thanks so much for the recommendation — hope to see you out again soon!

Excellent trip...
Really good day of fishing. The captain, Chris, was helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our trip. He was really helpful in showing what rigs to use and what bait. The boat is kept in top-notch condition and clean. We caught plenty of yellowtail and also spotted seatrout. I would highly recommend it for a day's fishing, whether you are a novice or seasoned angler. It caters to everyone.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review—Captain Chris will really appreciate your kind words! We’re thrilled you had such a successful and enjoyable day on the water, especially with that solid haul of yellowtail and spotted seatrout. His attentive guidance on rigs and bait makes all the difference, especially for those who want to learn while catching. And yes—keeping the boat spotless and well-stocked is just how he rolls! Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned angler, we’re so glad to hear it hit the mark. Hope to see you back out with us again soon! 🎣

We went fishing with Captain Rick in Late February
Captain Rick knew where to go to catch fish. We were fishing in off season and catching fish, even though we did not catch keepers. We had fun and had a good day of fishing with Captain Rick.
Response from the operator: Hi, so glad your fishing trip with Capt Rick was so good and enjoyed everything about it! From Capt Rick and all of us at Naples Florida Fishing charters. A sincere thank you for your business!

Captain Rick
Knowledgeable, helpful, courteous describes Captain Rick. We highly recommend this excursion with this Captain. We caught Red Fish, Spanish Mackerel, and Mangrove Snapper, among others. He cleaned them for us and we cooked and ate them that very night.
Response from the operator: So great your experience was everything you wanted. Capt Rick is outstanding, so happy it when so well. Thank you for this review and your business and hope to see you in the future.

3 HOUR TOUR
My husband thought this 3 hour tour was just ok. He is a die hard fisherman and won't spend the crazy amount of money to charter a boat ($600.00 or so) so he took this tour even though it was for anyone (like the lady who have never fished before, so the captain spent all his time helping her ) just to get a feel of the water, and the fishing area. He would not do it again.
Response from the operator: Sorry, the experience wasn't completely everything you wanted. Thanks for the review and your business, we hope you will come back and give a chance to exceed your expectations next time!

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters cost?
+
Prices start at $686 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Marco Island Inshore Fishing Charters start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
Naples is the launch point for Everglades airboat rides and Ten Thousand Islands boat tours, along with shelling trips, sunset sails off the pier and small-group food walks downtown. On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marco Island and Naples Pedal or Paddle Kayak Tour, Mangrove Tunnels & Mudflats Kayak Tour - Local Biologist Guides, Manatees and Mangrove Tunnels Small Group Kayak Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
November to April, the dry season with the best wildlife viewing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
