Magical finds at every turn

We accidentally booked 7:30 am, but Steve Tours was able to accommodate us at 9 am. Our guide, Rudy, was so knowledgeable and fun and absolutely loves what he does. He told us he loves to wake up and go to work. We saw so many animals, including a sloth! He shared all the pictures from the tour with us. Rudy made it a great experience. We had a wonderful group picture at the beach. We saw butterflies, iguanas, howler monkeys, hummingbirds, capuchin monkeys, crabs, coati, snails, squirrel monkeys and more. Highly recommend this tour, it is worth every penny! Bring your swim wear so you can fully enjoy the beach.

Outstanding Private Tour of Manuel Antonio with the One and Only Rudy ("Fillo Fresh")

If you're visiting Manuel Antonio and considering a nature tour, stop looking and book with Steve Tours Costa Rica. Our private tour with Rudy ("Fillo Fresh") was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. From the moment we met Rudy, it was clear that this wasn't going to be an ordinary walking tour. His knowledge of the wildlife, flora, and history of Manuel Antonio National Park was incredible, but what truly set him apart was his genuine passion for sharing it. He didn't just point things out along the trail. He brought every animal, insect, and plant to life with fascinating stories, facts, and explanations about why each species is important to Costa Rica's rich ecosystem. One of the coolest parts of the experience was watching Rudy work his magic with his spotting scope. He would locate wildlife that we never would have found on our own, then use our phones through the scope to capture amazing photos that looked straight out of National Geographic. Every sighting became an opportunity to learn something new, and his excitement was contagious. You could tell that even after all the tours he has led, he still gets just as excited to spot wildlife as his guests do. Beyond his expertise, Rudy is simply an outstanding person. He is knowledgeable, interactive, funny, kind, and incredibly easy to talk to. By the end of the tour, we felt like we were exploring the park with a friend rather than a guide. In fact, he's the kind of person you'd happily spend days traveling around Costa Rica with, sightseeing and learning from. His enthusiasm for nature, conservation, and the environment is inspiring, and his love for Costa Rica shines through in everything he does. We also loved learning about the history of Costa Rica's national park system and the story behind Manuel Antonio itself. Rudy seamlessly blended natural history, conservation, local culture, and wildlife into a tour that was both educational and entertaining. Simply put, Rudy embodies the Costa Rican spirit of Pura Vida. His warmth, positivity, and passion made this an unforgettable experience. We cannot recommend Steve Tours Costa Rica and Rudy highly enough. If you have the chance to tour Manuel Antonio with him, don't hesitate. It will be one of the best decisions you make during your trip. ★★★★★ Highly recommended!

Exceptional tour of Manuel Antonio

We joined this tour of Manuel Antonio National park at the last minute, as we were thinking we could do the walk ourselves. So glad we didn’t as we would not have seen anywhere near as much as we did! We had Andrey who was exceptional - he was the ultimate guide! He was very knowledgeable and engaging, friendly and funny, he entertained us with such interesting facts and anecdotes. We saw snakes, frogs, a sloth close up, bats, monkeys and lots more. It was such an enjoyable and education experience, so glad that we made the right decision and got a guide, we would definitely recommend this company! They were very efficient and communicate very clearly about arrangements, putting us at ease. Thank you!

Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.

How much does Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED cost?

+

Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.

Is Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 422 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED?

+

Around 148 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manuel Antonio National Park : Guided tour with TICKET INCLUDED start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quepos?

+

On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting Savegre Class II-III plus Waterfall Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Waterfall Ziplining & Canyoning. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quepos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quepos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
