On the track of windmills
Tracked down a couple of windmills - the one at Galatzo which we drove to after spending time tracking it down had no car access to it - it was just for hikers - if it hadn't been one of the hottest days of the year we would have tried it (40 deg!) We then found the windmill (complete) and one with no sails above Andratx (thank you the police officer who gave directions when the tourist bureau was closed at 2.45 (meant to close at 3) and am sure was quite amused at my attempt to be a windmill to try and explain what we wanted. This windmill was in good condition but also gave great views over Andratx and Puerto Andratx from a distance. Also within a lovely pine forest with shade and a good track to walk. We sorted this ourselves but would recommend it

Refund not given
We cancelled this tour, and we were told that our money was refunded. We were only refund $120.00 of the $241.60 that we paid. This is not okay.

Life and taste of Old Mallorca
One of our FAVORITE tours! We had a rental car so we loved that we could save money by driving our own car. Birgit was FABULOUS! Before the tour, she communicated with us. She met us and installed a two way radio into our car so that she could explain, give the history of things that we were seeing and we could ask questions back to her all while traveling. We learned about the windmills, visited several small villages where we parked, walked around and learned about the local history, highlights and culture. We were provided a traditional, Mallorca "pamboli" meal and were surprised with a yummy Ensaimada pastry. (We let her know ahead of time that we had a few people with dietary issues -- Birgit went out of her way to accommodate those dietary restrictions. **VERY much appreciated!!) Along the way, we even stopped on the road to taste Loquats -- a small, round fruit common in Mallorca gardens. We really felt like we had a "taste" of the history and culture of Mallorca with Birgit! We loved it!

Great day out!
This was the best day. Our tour guide Birgit was lovely warm and full of knowledge. It was a beautiful day and we knew we were in safe hands. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes to get out and see more of the island.

Ask for Birgit, you can't go wrong.
Excellent little tour with a delightful guide, Birgit. We got to see parts of Mallorca, closer to Palma we probably would have never known about without this tour. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mallorca: Windmills, Legends and Charming Villages start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
