I never received the activation email , no return from the provider
Response from the operator: Hello, We appreciate you reaching out and sharing your concern with us. Since we don’t automatically receive customer contact details, we’re unable to proceed with sending the eSIM until we get the necessary information through the proper process. We understand this might cause some inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Please get in touch with our support team so we can review your case more closely and, if eligible, offer a refund or an appropriate resolution in line with our policy. We’re here to assist you and ensure everything is handled properly. Best regards,

E-sim not delivered during trip
I never got the e-sim while I was in Malaysia despite my reaching out to Viator and the company. I got an email from the company only weeks after my trip. So this was incredibly useless, poor service and should be avoided.
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. Due to privacy policies, customer contact details are not shared with us directly, which can sometimes delay our ability to send the eSIM promptly if we don’t receive the required information in time. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially during your trip. Please reach out to our support team so we can review your case in detail and, if applicable, arrange a refund or suitable compensation under our satisfaction guarantee. We would really appreciate the opportunity to make this right for you. Kind regards,

eSIM experience
eSIM works as expected even for last minute purchase. I did took a little longer for the vendor to setup the QR code. Afterward it's all good.

Very prompt service, good internet speed
I recently booked an eSIM on 4/9/25, and I am very happy with the overall experience. The activation process was smooth, and the internet speed has been excellent — fast and reliable throughout. When I faced an issue with activating the eSIM that was originally sent to my email at the time of booking, the support team was very quick and helpful. They immediately provided me with a new eSIM, and thanks to their prompt service, I was able to get connected without any hassle. I really appreciate the professionalism, efficiency, and customer care shown. A big thank you to the team for making the process so convenient. – Tajindersingh Modi

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuala Lumpur.
How much does Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data) cost?
+
Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuala Lumpur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data) take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuala Lumpur is not rushed.
Is Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuala Lumpur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data) suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 24-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data)?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuala Lumpur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuala Lumpur and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Malaysia eSIM (1 to 30 days. Up to 60GB of Data) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuala Lumpur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuala Lumpur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sambal Streets Kuala Lumpur Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Genting Highland & Batu Cave Guided Day Tour (SIC/Shared Tour), Private Half-Day Batu Caves and Cutural Tour in Kuala Lumpur. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuala Lumpur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuala Lumpur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
