A great break from sightseeing
We really enjoyed making our Ganeshas and hope we can get them home safely in one piece! Staff very friendly and helpful in a professional environment. We booked 2 art workshops in one day here, which maybe was an error on my part as we felt a little rushed towards the end before lunch. Perhaps we could have made a slightly smaller figure to help with speed. Overall, really great experience and thank you to the staff!

Loved the experience!
Everyone at the academy were amazing! I booked this experience for my friends and I. We really enjoyed the entire process. They demonstrated and guided us in creating our own Ganesha. Everyone was really warm and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Jaipur.

Lovely workshop run by professionals!
We are only in Jaipur for a few days and decided to give this workshop a try so we could bring home a nice souvenir. I'm so glad we did! Such a lovely studio space with some brilliant work from the students on display. We spent 2 hours making our clay statues and were able to take them home with us straight away - compared to other pottery courses where you have to wait for pieces to be fired in a kiln. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and we were shown each step of the process (very helpful considering we are both amateurs!). This course is well worth it to take something special home with you and to support a great local business in Jaipur - we would highly recommend :)
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your detailed review. It is very motivating for us to read it and we hope it will also help other travelers looking for a similar experience. It was indeed our pleasure hosting both of you 🙂

Be a kid again
A must-see in Jaipur. I loved this workshop. The manager ensured I could do this workshop in the time period I was in Jaipur. It is an art school and you see some amazing work by the students. My teacher was patient and talented. If you love art, want to be a kid again and take home a treasured memory of Jaipur, India, do this workshop.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review. we are glad that you had so much fun.

Be a kid again! Amazing fun!
I loved this workshop. It is an actual art school too. If you love art then this workshop is a must. My teacher was patient and fun. The people around were friendly and encouraging. Totally enjoyed every minute. They were also accommodating with the time you attend, just email and discuss in advance. Thank Colorbox for my wonderful Ganesha
Response from the operator: Thank you so much. I was amazing hosting an amazing person like you. Your enthusiasm and energy is awesome.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Make my own Ganesha: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.
How much does Make my own Ganesha cost?
+
Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Make my own Ganesha take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.
Is Make my own Ganesha worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Make my own Ganesha?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Make my own Ganesha suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Make my own Ganesha?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Make my own Ganesha start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
