Great Day
We had a great day out with Felipe and Gerald touring the Maipo Valley, tasting wines at Santa Rita, Concha y Toro and Uranga (a very small winery). They are very knowledgeable, fluentt in English, and too good care of us. Recommended.

Maipo Valley Top 3 wineries
My husband and I recently went on a wine tour of Maipo Valley with the guides Felipe and Gerald and we had a fantastic time! Our guides were very professional, knowledgeable and informative. They knew all about Chile and all about the wines and wine regions. Our ride was comfortable and the 3 wineries we went to plus lunch were great. Highly, highly recommend this company if you are looking for a tour of the Maipo Valley wine region!

Felipe and Gerald combined to give my wife and I a unique, enjoyable experience. Leaving our cruise ship in San Antonio, we had stops in San Antonio, Casablanca and Maipo. Each was a unique and memorable experience. Our favorite was Hacienda San Juan!

Incredible Wine Tour with Exceptional Tour Guide!
This was an absolute highlight for my partner and me in Chile! Visiting each winery was amazing, they are all so unique and special and each vineyard had it's own incredible wines to showcase. All of the guides at each winery were so knowledgable, friendly and had so much passion for wine and the wine-making process. We learned a lot; I won't spoil the excitement and surprise of visiting each vineyard with too much detail, but you're in for a real treat. Once in a lifetime kind of experience. Our guide who picked us up and took us to each winery, Caroline, was a true gem. Meeting her was a separate and equally wonderful highlight of the trip. Carolina has a vast wealth of knowledge about wine and made our time in Chile so fun and interesting. We kept in touch with Carolina for the rest of our trip, she gave us amazing tips and recommendations of places to visit in Chile and more ways we could try wine and learn more, it was such a joy to meet her. We couldn't be more grateful!
Response from the operator: Hello again Jay, it makes us very happy that you considered the experience an absolute highlight and once in a lifetime kind of experience!! Very rewarding. Also, it’s very nice of Carolina to have been in touch with you after the tour to gave you amazing tips and recommendations of places to visit in Chile and more ways you could try wine and learn more about wine. If that also made your time in Chile fun and interesting... Great!! We’ll congratulate her on your behalf! Hope to see you here again in the future. Thanks so much and all the best, Juan

Fantastic winery experience
We had a wonderful day with Felipe and Gerald. They were incredibly knowledgeable about Chilean culture, food, and wine. They had great communication leading up to the day trip. On the day of the winery tour, they met us at our hotel in a nice, clean, airconditioned car, equipped with water and snacks. They guided us through 3 of the best wineries in Maipo Valley. At the end of the day Felipe surprised us with a delicious authentic Chilean empanada experience. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Hello Divya, we’re so glad you have enjoyed your experience. Nice! Thanks so much for your feedback and rating. I’ll congratulate Felipe and Gerald on your behalf. Happy new year!

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.
How much does Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago cost?
+
Prices start at $418 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.
Is Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Maipo Valley Top Wineries Private Tours and Tastings from Santiago start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santiago?
+
On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santiago?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santiago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
