Great food and great fun!!
My husband and I did this tour as part of a long weekend in the Cincinnati area. We had a great time on this tour! Mike was very knowledgeable about Covington and talked to us about our plans for our trip and offered suggestions of other places we might want to eat or visit while in the area after our tour was completed. The food was AMAZING! It was such a variety of bites, from chicken and Waffles to a local pizza. I would definitely recommend this tour and will likely do another tour with Riverside Food Tours if we travel to the area again.
Response from the operator: Thank you! A Riverside Food Tour is a fun and easy way to learn more about the area and enjoy dishes from local restaurants. Thank you for your high recommendation. We look forward to seeing you again!

Even better, the tour was packed with fascinating information and history about Covington. Mike was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience fun and engaging for our whole family. We loved learning about the city while enjoying wonderful local food along the way. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area or even locals wanting to discover more about Mainstrasse Village in Covington!

Amazing tour and guide!
As longtime Northern KY locals, we had such a great time getting to know Mainstrasse Village from a fresh perspective. The food was delicious, and the history was interesting, engaging, and perfectly paced. We’re already looking forward to going back and visiting several of the restaurants we discovered along the way. It made for a fun, relaxing Saturday, and we highly recommend this tour to both locals and visitors alike!
Response from the operator: Thank you, Karen. That's a compliment we love to hear from locals. Mainstrasse is a charming neighborhood that is full of wonderful restaurants. Thank you for the high recommendation!

We are so full! Fun experience for locals, too.
We’re locals, and eat out a lot. We LOVE Covington! It’s our go to for a nice dinner or drinks. I booked the food tour on a whim as a way to learn a bit more about the city, and maybe discover some new favorites. It did not disappoint!!! Mike, our tour guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. We got to try several different types of food, and learned some history of Mainstrasse that we didnt know. By the time the tour ended, we were STUFFED! We decided it was a great value for our money. If you’re not familiar with Covingtons food scene, this is a great way to get started! We went as a couple. This would be a fun experience for a family, a group of friends, a date, etc. I’m glad we did it!!
Response from the operator: Thanks for the great review! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the history, the local restaurants and the time with Mike. A food tour is a fun way to get to know a neighborhood or a new city! I hope you can join us again sometime on a different Riverside Food Tour.

Response from the operator: Thanks Colleen for the great review. I'm glad you had a fantastic time with Mike!

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cincinnati.
How much does Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cincinnati usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cincinnati is not rushed.
Is Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 52 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cincinnati, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cincinnati can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cincinnati and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mainstrasse Village Food Tour in Covington KY start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cincinnati within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cincinnati?
+
Cincinnati tours cover Over-the-Rhine architecture and food, brewery heritage and lagering tunnels, Ohio River sightseeing cruises and Underground Railroad Freedom Center visits. On Outty we rank every Cincinnati experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hidden Brewery Caverns Tour in Cincinnati with Beer Tasting, Ultimate Queen City Underground Tour, Top 10 Sites + Bites of Cincinnati Tour with Riverside Food Tours. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cincinnati?
+
April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cincinnati?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
