If you want to experience the real Morocco

There are a few operators out there that service tours in Morocco and I didn't know where to start and we preferred to book directly with a company than a 3rd party. After much research and reading so many positive reviews on trip advisor, we decided on Moroccan Madness. We are soooooo glad that we did. Our trip to Morocco was excellent because of the co-ordinators, Youseff and Nicola, and all supporting staff, drivers and guides. We did change the tour to reverse and they were able to assist us to tailor to our needs as well as maneuver around a holy festival that lasts a few days and businesses close. They still managed to ensure that we did not miss out on any experiences in the programme . Nothing was a problem for them at all. I don't think we would have had so many experiences, both touristy and cultural, with other companies because Morocco Madness have a true passion for their clients to experience the true Morocco. They chose the perfect, comfortable and most beautiful accommodation stays for us. Even the staff at the accommodation were so helpful providing us with important information, tips and made us feel so welcome. We have a complex diet but they were able to assist us to ensure that we still enjoyed the tastes of Morocco with adjustments of course. From the day we started corresponding with them, we felt assured that this company will look after our needs and it was sooo true. From the time of arrival at Marrakesh airport to the last day of our tour in Casablanca. They went beyond their requirements especially assisting us to book train tickets from Casablana to Tangier as we were having trouble booking those ourselves. Our driver, Hakim, was amazing. He was so funny and friendly. It was like family from day dot and we were brothers and sister instantly. We did not feel like tourists at all. We travelled in a van which was most comfortable and clean, especially for some of the long drives in this tour. Sometimes it is the little things that stand out and very memorable. We had a bit of a drive on some days but when we wanted a coffee break, Hakim would find one for us. We especially like the traditional road side ones. When you least expect it, there was a coffee stop by the roadside. A coffee machine in the back of a car or van. We were made so welcome by the owner and the coffee was amazing and so cheap. Better than any cafe one. In a nutshell, we absolutely loved our tour with Moroccan Madness. So may experiences that were amazing and strange at times, so many laughs, lots of van naps, delicous food and coffee!!, and the scenery, wow. never the same and magnificent. These memories will be forever in our hearts. We hope we are able to return one day to experience other places to see in Morocco and would definitely not book with any other than Morocco Madness. Thank you so much Youseff, Nicola and Hakim.

Trip of a Lifetime

This trip was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Youssef is a true local who knows exactly where and how to get the best authentic experience of Morocco. As he says some people know Marrakech but after this tour we know Morocco.

Amazing trip with the BEST guide!

I can’t say enough about this tour, and especially our guide, Youssef! He promised us the trip of a lifetime, and he delivered! Of course we saw all of the beautiful places and sights that you associate with Morocco, and that was a dream come true. But the thing that made this trip different was the fact that we got to interact with some of the local people, learn about their lives and culture, and experience things that you would never have access to on a typical tourist trip. This was made possible by the deep connections Youssef has all across the region, relationships that are obviously respectful and loving. Through Youssef we got to meet nomads, Berbers, merchants, local families … we had the opportunity to understand the world we were visiting, not just observe it from a distance. It was truly a lovely and unique experience. And we were completely taken care of the whole time. The team went above and beyond for us, helping us retrieve passports we left in a hotel safe, and even helping us get back an ATM card that got stuck in a machine after hours! Again, I can not speak their praises highly enough! Along the way, we were pleased with the accommodations, food, pace, and activities. We had a great group of travelers and good vibes throughout! All in all a really wonderful experience. Definitely recommend!! If you travel with Youssef and team, you will have an unbelievable time- indeed, the trip of a lifetime!

Moroccan madness!!

This was truly an unforgettable experience. The trip was packed with so much culture, food, and experiences that felt one of a kind. It was a great amount of time where I felt like I got a great taste of Morocco and definitely had me feeling like I could stay and explore for longer. However I still felt like I got to see so much and it truly filled my bucket. The tour guides were all great, we met different guides throughout the trip and I thought this was very valuable to meet new people and hear about their lives and traditions. It was a wonderful get-away that I would recommend 100 times over.

Get to know Morocco beyond the sand dunes and medinas!

The depth and width of the experience were impressive for such a short amount of time. Youssef, our guide, made the flow seamless and joyful, even getting up at 4am to ride across the Atlas Mountains to the next destination was embraced. I can write a book about the adventure but to sum it up: GO, Experience it with Youssef! This is his soul, his land, his people, and they all respect, trust and love him, and so did everyone on our tour by the end.

Magical Morocco 8 day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Casablanca.

How much does Magical Morocco 8 day cost?

+

Prices start at $1499 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Casablanca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Magical Morocco 8 day take?

+

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Casablanca is not rushed.

Is Magical Morocco 8 day worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Casablanca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Magical Morocco 8 day?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Magical Morocco 8 day suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 17. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Magical Morocco 8 day?

+

Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Casablanca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Casablanca and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Magical Morocco 8 day start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Casablanca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Casablanca?

+

On Outty we rank every Casablanca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Casablanca Half-day Guided Tour with Hassan II mosque ticket, Private Guided Tour of Casablanca Including Mosque Entrance, Fez Guided Tour with lunch from Casablanca. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Casablanca?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Casablanca?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
