    Amazing experience! We...

Amazing experience! We loved riding in and around Casa de Camp (the park) and enjoyed our guide’s extensive knowledge of the area. Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Kimberly, for your great review of our parks and river tour. This tour avoids the busy city center and takes you along the River Manzanares and through the largest park in Madrid, a former hunting ground of the Spanish Kings. On the way back to our office, you come across another green area called West Park, always off the beaten track and much less crowded. To overcome some climbs, our Trek E-bikes make this tour a different bicycling experience. All the best, and take care.

Beautiful Park and River Bike Tour in Madrid – A Must-Do Experience!

We had a fantastic time on this park and river bike tour in Madrid and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The route was absolutely beautiful, taking us through peaceful parks and along the river with stunning scenery the entire way. It was such a refreshing way to see a different side of Madrid away from the busy streets, with plenty of green space, open views, and scenic stops along the way. Our guide, Remy, was truly outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Madrid, the parks, and the river area, sharing interesting history and local insights that made everything we saw even more meaningful. His professionalism was excellent from start to finish—well-organized, attentive to the group, and always making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe on the ride. Remy also had a great personality, with a friendly, relaxed style and a good sense of humor that made the tour even more enjoyable. He kept things engaging without ever feeling rushed, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Overall, this was a highlight of our time in Madrid—beautiful scenery, a fun and easy ride, and a fantastic guide. We would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to others!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Ann Margaret, for taking the time to write such a wonderfully detailed review! We are delighted to hear that the park and river tour showed you a more peaceful, scenic side of Madrid, away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Remy will be absolutely overjoyed to read your kind words. He takes immense pride in creating a smooth, safe, and engaging experience for every group, so knowing that his local insights, organization, and sense of humor helped make this a highlight of your trip means the world to him—and to all of us! Your high recommendation is deeply appreciated, and we would love nothing more than to welcome you back for another ride the next time your travels bring you to Madrid!

    Beautiful morning in the park.

We all had a beautiful morning riding with Casper. Our trip took us by the Royal Palace, Catherdral Almudena and the plaza by the palace first. Then we proceeded to the area west of the palace filled with parks and trails. All along the way Casper enriched us with the history of each area we stopped at. It was a wonderful 3 hour ride. So nice to get away to the more peaceful area right outside the city, riding around the parks especially Casa de Campo was gorgeous. We highly recommend this excursion. At the end we stopped for a wonderful glass of cider and snack at a local restaurant.

Response from the operator: Many thanks for your complimentary review and above all for your warm recommendation. We are delighted that our Parks and Riverside Bike Tour was so enjoyable. The City of Madrid has invested much time and money in making the city friendlier for cyclists, so apart from our standard city bike tour, we are pleased to organise private city tours tailored to meet the particular interests of prospective clients. Please contact us with your inquiries. Hopefully, you will see fit to return to Madrid, and we would very much like to welcome you again. With all good wishes from the Bravo Bike Team.

    Poor tour guide

We booked a park tour ride. The owner of the business was the tour guide. My wife is not an experienced rider as was a little slower. The tour guide did not wait for her at a set of traffic lights. I waited for my wife to catch up. We were left behind and could not find the group. Eventually the tour guide found us. I told him that he should always count the number of riders in the group at each stop. His response was my wife was too slow. I could not believe his response. No apology and he was very arrogant. A lady also fell off her bike resulting in grazing to her arm. The tour guide did not appear to have a first aid kit. You would think this would be mandatory requirement. He offered her a bandage once we returned to the bike shop. I am an experienced bike rider and the level of care provided by this company is poor. I would not recommend this bike tour due to the poor safety standards.

Great day biking through the parks!

We had a wonderful tour around all the parks in Madrid. Our tour guide Casper was kind, knowledgeable, engaging and overall a wonderful tour guide. I highly recommend the Park and River tour, you will see areas that you might not know existed! What a great way to see Madrid.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your excellent review! Our Parks and River Tour offers a unique perspective of the capital by exploring incredible green spaces along the Manzanares River, where you can enjoy cycling without traffic. We also cycle through the enormous public land park, a former hunting ground of the Spanish royal family, providing great views of Madrid, including the Royal Palace and Cathedral. On our way back, we climb through the West Park, overlooking once more our route from the Egyptian Temple of Debod. We hope you'll join us again for another cycling adventure in the future! All the best.

Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 3.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Madrid Parks & Riverside Bike Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
