    It was OK I likely...

It was OK I likely wouldn’t do it again. I would much rather have done the day bus because at least in August in Madrid, the city doesn’t light up as other seasons.

Do this tour! You’ll love it.

Awesome! It was amazing I must do. I’m really glad that we did it. Took us to places that we might not have otherwise been able to see in Madrid. Lots of great history and entertaining audio.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're delighted to hear that you had such an amazing experience. It's wonderful to know the tour took you to places you might not have otherwise discovered and that you enjoyed learning more about Madrid's rich history along the way. We're especially pleased that you found the audio commentary both informative and entertaining. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you on board again the next time you're in Madrid! 🚌✨Alex@BigBusTours

    No guide, no night

My headphone plug was clogged, so I couldn't listen to the audio guide during the tour. Also it isn't really a "night" tour - at least not in August. If you await illuminated buildings, you have them at best within the last 10 minutes.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are very sorry that the blocked audio plug ruined your commentary experience, and we apologize for the disappointment regarding the late sunset during the summer months for our Night Tour. Your feedback has been noted and passed along to our local operations team so we can ensure everything on board functions properly for our guests. Melisa@BigBusTours

    Good tour, recommend

Good tour, late about an hour and ten minutes. Very informative, but if your doing it in summer go on top otherwise you will melt on the lower deck.

Response from the operator: Hi Sean_S. Thank you for taking the time to provide your insights! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our bus tour, and we look forward to welcoming you back on board in the future. Best regards, Razvan @BigBusTours

    Great tour in Madrid

Great way to start your trip in Madrid. It was still so hot at 8:30pm in August so get a seat under the open air top!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We're delighted to hear that the tour was a great way to start your trip in Madrid. August evenings can still be very warm, and your tip about choosing a seat on the open-top deck is a great one for fellow travelers looking to enjoy the views and a refreshing breeze. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope you had a fantastic time exploring Madrid! Alex@BigBusTours

Madrid Big Bus Night Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does Madrid Big Bus Night Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $18 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Madrid Big Bus Night Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1.2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is Madrid Big Bus Night Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 69 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Madrid Big Bus Night Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Madrid Big Bus Night Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Madrid Big Bus Night Tour?

    +

Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 1.2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Madrid Big Bus Night Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
