Very helpful with tickets
I'd bought tickets to Machu Picchu on line and realised I'd made a mistake in a passport number when I received them. Using WhatsApp, my communication with Machu Picchu Centre was excellent and the mistake was rectified easily.

A magical day at the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu!
Amazing experience at Machu Picchu with my family! We hired a tour guide when we arrived as there were many there to help you with this option . Bring a rain coat if you are visiting during rainy season.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your experience. We are truly delighted to hear that you and your family had an amazing time at Machu Picchu. Hiring a guide is indeed a wonderful way to enrich the visit, as it allows you to fully understand the history and significance of this extraordinary site. We also appreciate your helpful advice regarding bringing a raincoat during the rainy season—being prepared certainly makes the experience more comfortable. It was an honor to be part of your family adventure, and we hope to welcome you again in the future. Warm regards, Juan Francisco MachuPicchu Center

Not enough communication of the trip details
Communication of essential details of the trip, for example the location of the place where I should board the bus, was not good. Also when I was sent the tickets, the tickets for the main entrance were missing. Being my first time on this kind of tour I was not sure if I was going to be picked up by someone at the hotel and if someone was going to give me the entrance tickets later. There needs to be more information and more confirmation from the operator side. At least that's what I expect from a good tour service.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience with Machu Picchu Center. We sincerely regret that the communication prior to your tour did not meet your expectations, particularly concerning the boarding location and the initial delivery of your entrance tickets. We fully understand that, especially for first-time visitors, clear, timely, and detailed information is essential to feel confident and well assisted throughout the journey. We apologize for any uncertainty this situation may have caused you. Please be assured that our intention is always to provide complete guidance and proactive confirmation at every stage of the service. Your comments are highly valuable to us and have been shared with our operations team to strengthen our communication protocols, ensure clearer instructions, and improve follow-up with our travelers. This will help us avoid similar situations in the future and continue enhancing the overall experience we strive to deliver. Thank you once again for your constructive feedback. We truly appreciate it and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again under improved circumstances. Kind regards, Machu Picchu Center Team

Guided thoroughly every step of the way
I opted for the "Machu Picchu last minute tickets (2-day tour)". Let me explain why I opted for this tour. There are 3 things to get to Machu Picchu - The first step is to buy the entrance ticket a couple months in advance from the official website as they get sold out quickly. Since most people may only become aware of this a few days before their trip, they most likely will have to go for the last minute ticket option which I explained below. The second step is to buy the train and bus tickets from Cuzco -> Ollantaytambo -> Aguas Calientes (the base town of Machu Picchu) -> actual Machu Picchu site. The Cuzco to Ollantaytambo route is a bus/van ride handled by the rail company itself and is part of a single train ticket from Cuzco to Aguas Calientes (Inca Rail in my case). Then another bus ticket from Aguas Calientes to the actual Machu Picchu site (a 30-minute ride, you need the MP entrace ticket to board this bus and will be allowed only during your time slot). Thirdly, if you are like many others who opt for the last minute MP entrance ticket, you need to go to the Machu Picchu center in the Aguas Calientes town. I heard this used to be a cumbersome process before, wait in long lines, collect a token in the morning, then come back in the evening to collect the actual ticket. Sometimes, the ticket may be for the next day visit, some other times, it may be for the day after. When I went in Oct 2025, it was pretty smooth, I just went to the office, they gave me a ticket directly for the next day, no big lines or token systems. They even gave me an option to choose a time slot for the next day. Maybe it was because it was a low season, I am not sure. This is where MachuPicchu.center shines. They took care of everything, from picking me up from my hotel in Cuzco, to putting me on the bus to Ollantaytambo, then to the train to Aguas Calientes. A guide met me at the "Machu Picchu Pueblo" station (the Aguas Calientes town), and guided me to the office where I had to purchase the last minute entrance ticket, sent me the bus tickets from Aguas Caliantes to Machu Picchu, gave me another guide's name who will meet me at the Machu Picchu site the next day. I stood in line the next day during my time slot and took the bus. The second guide met me at the MP entrance, he took me around every inch of the site, explained the history, and accompanied me until the exit. My Spanish is very basic and kind of broken, but all guides spoke good English and guided me thoroughly without ambiguity, following up via WhatsApp making sure everything's smooth. Can all of these be done by ourselves without any help? Sure it can be. You need to know the different towns, like Cuzco -> Ollantaytambo -> Aguas Calientes -> Machu Picchu entrance ticket -> Machu Picchu bus. If everything goes seemless, great. If something got delayed, missed a bus or a train, and you are short on time, it may become an unnecessary anxiety. With MachuPicchu.center, knowing that there's always someone a WhatsApp away definitely helps.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review! 🌄 We’re truly glad to hear that your experience with our Machu Picchu Last Minute Tickets (2-Day Tour) went smoothly from start to finish. Our team works hard to make the logistics—from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, Aguas Calientes, and finally Machu Picchu—as effortless as possible, especially for travelers booking on short notice. It’s wonderful to know that our guides, coordination, and WhatsApp support helped make your journey stress-free and enjoyable. We really appreciate your trust in us and your clear explanation of the process—it will surely help other travelers understand how everything works. Thank you again for choosing MachuPicchu.center to make your visit to the Inca citadel memorable. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Peru soon! 🇵🇪✨

Worth it.
While I wouldn't say it was inexpensive, I believe it was well worth the cost. The first thing that impressed me was the appropriate and prompt manner in which you handled our inquiries just before the tour. Furthermore, as we do not speak any Spanish, communicating with locals during the tour was challenging. However, the organizers you arranged were extremely courteous and helpful, and all the arrangements for the bus, train, and guides were very clear and easy to follow.
Response from the operator:

How much does Machu Picchu Circuit 2 + Bus to Entrance Combo cost?
+
Prices start at $123 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sacred Valley usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Machu Picchu Circuit 2 + Bus to Entrance Combo take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sacred Valley is not rushed.
Is Machu Picchu Circuit 2 + Bus to Entrance Combo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sacred Valley, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Machu Picchu Circuit 2 + Bus to Entrance Combo?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Machu Picchu Circuit 2 + Bus to Entrance Combo suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Machu Picchu Circuit 2 + Bus to Entrance Combo?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sacred Valley can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sacred Valley and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Machu Picchu Circuit 2 + Bus to Entrance Combo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sacred Valley within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sacred Valley?
+
On Outty we rank every Sacred Valley experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best Private Sacred Valley Tour in Cusco ( with Pisac), From Urubamba & Ollantaytambo: Sacred Valley Day tour with Lunch, Machu Picchu Guided Tour from Aguas Calientes. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sacred Valley?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sacred Valley?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
