Amazing tour from hvar to Dubrovnik
My husband and I recently booked a transfer from Hvar to Dubrovnik with stops at a local winery, an oyster farm, and the historic town of Ston. From start to finish, everything was seamless thanks to our guide, Hrvoje, who was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire day effortless. The winery was outstanding—we had the opportunity to taste some of Croatia’s finest, award-winning wines, and every selection was exceptional. The absolute highlight of the day was the oyster farm, where we enjoyed the freshest oysters and seafood lunch right in the middle of the sea. It was truly one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had and, without a doubt, the best oysters and seafood I’ve ever eaten. This was so much more than just a transfer—it was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. If you’re traveling from Hvar to Dubrovnik, I can’t recommend this experience enough. Thank you, Hrvoje, for making our day absolutely perfect!

Great Introduction to Croatian Wine
H was a very good tour guide for our day of wine and oyster tasting. He is extremely knowledgable and ran the tour seamlessly for the entire day. The two wineries he introduced us to were remarkable and very different in style and experience. It was an excellent balance. The oyster tasting was also very interesting and the food was plentiful. It was a very well spent day.

Amazing tour - unique experience
Hrvoje is a really experienced and super friendly tour guide . We did the wine tasting and oyster farm tour alongside. Fantastic beach stop and a stop in Ston for the famous wall and salt manufacture - the wine was amazing , some of the best in the world (they won global competitions) and the oyster farm we had all to ourselves in the middle of paradise - clean waters, nature and absolutely NO people unlike Dubrovnik. I am not an Oyster fan, but here you get them right from the sea onto your plate - a unique experience and according to the local oyster farm employee one of the only places in the world they still grow this specific oyster as other places became too polluted, unlike this bay in Croatia Hrvoje uses a brand new V Class Mercedes - the transport is comfortable and save . We are very happy with his service so we also booked him for our transport to Split tomorrow

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting cost?
+
Prices start at $886 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Luxury Wine and Oyster tasting start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
