Luxury Small Group Sapa Tour 2 Days from Hanoi

Poor Communication Ruined my Trip to Sapa

Sapa is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. That said, I would not recommend this particular tour. The agent was not very responsive and the lack of communication led to a lot of confusion. I was not contacted at all after booking, so the day before my tour I texted via Whatsapp. With no response by the end of the day, I called their contact number and was told “I am busy please call back in 40 minutes” It was not communicated that I would be on a bus with people from various other tours. At one point I was told I’d need to get out and catch a taxi to my hotel because my hotel was far away from the others. My booking confirmation showed me at the Charm Hotel, which a customer on another tour told me he got as a 3-star. When I got to the Charm hotel, there was no reservation for me. This travel agency told me I selected 3-star so I was in a different hotel. Because my room in the new hotel smelled like mildew and had no windows (very dark and dank), I had to pay extra to stay elsewhere. When it was time to leave Sapa, this travel agency told me that my guide would help me catch my bus, which was listed on my confirmation as 3:30. My tour guide knew nothing about my bus. This agency did not reply to my texts or calls. When the hotel called them, they picked up immediately and set up my return bus. The bus driver told me he would pick me up at 1:30, which meant I had to cancel my afternoon shopping.

Fantastic Sa Pa adventure!

We had the most incredible 2 days in Sa Pa, walking through stunning green rice terraced fields and local villages with our guide Trang ( say Tchang) a local young lady full of life and stories to share! Just fantastic!

Very good experience. Incredible landscapes and an endearing guide. Chang, our guide, was a very attentive and professional person. Their tours through Sapa are 100% recommended. Great experience. Cool break in Sapa

Taking the long trek option gave us a better experience of the local tribal villages and the surrounding terrain and a way of escaping the tourist hordes. Our guide Chang was an endless source of information along the trek and in the villages. We couldn't have asked for a better guide.

Trang Sa Pa has been our local guide, she is very friendly and very good person. He has taken us along different paths to the common ones that the rest of tourists went along, he taught us and explained his whole culture with excellent English, he is also learning Spanish!
