Sahara Holiday Tours provided my family a seamless and awesome Moroccan adventure.
Sahara Holiday tours provided us with a professional driver. Driss was very punctual and patient with us even helping us load l/unload our heavy luggages for 4 days from Chefchaouen to Fes to Merzouga to Dades Valley and then to Marrakech. The van was always clean. The hotels provided by Moha, the Manager were new and highly recommended. Dihya Luxury Desert Camp in Merzouga was right next to the sand dunes. The stay included an awesome sunrise camel ride. You can opt to have it during sunset, too. The food at the camp was meticulously prepared and served even if it’s Ramadan. We were surprised coz even if the camp had many guests, we were assigned two huge tents which were so spacious, beautifully designed, obviously new. Luxury indeed. The Riad Paradise in Dades Valley was a surprise. It was new, with indoor and outdoor pool and the best dinner served by highly-trained staff at their restaurant. Our tour in Fez with our guide Mohammed was so much fun. The ultimate tour guide. We were booked by Moha at Riad Fes Maya, listed in Forbes Magazine. It was located in the medina. When you step inside, you will immediately know it was a palace. Sahara Holiday Tours gave my family an awesome Morocco adventure. They are efficient, organized, professional, and easy to deal with. Thanks to Fazir, Mohammed,Hamid, Moustapha. Most especially to you Driss and Moha.

A wonderful trip in Morocco
We had a wonderful trip in Morocco. The driver, Mr Abdul, is a very good man. He's helpful and drove very safely. He could clearly explain to us the people's livelihood, history and culture so that we can have a deeper understanding of Morocco. The desert travel experience was amazing and unforgettable. We appreciate very much for the staff of Sahara Holiday Tours and hoping to join their tour group in the future.

Dromedary trip
To ride a dromedary deep into the desert was an experience that I could have only dreamt of. The rest of the trip are just extras. I was pretty disappointed in that I could not try proper sandboarding. I just got an old snowboard that had no glide and no bindings, so it was impossible to do anything there. Dinner and breakfast were good.
Response from the operator: hello there, thank you so much for your great review.

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Merzouga.
How much does Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Merzouga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Merzouga is not rushed.
Is Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Merzouga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Merzouga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Merzouga and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Luxury night in the Merzouga Desert & sandboarding start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Merzouga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Merzouga?
+
On Outty we rank every Merzouga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Camel Trekking & 1 Night in Merzouga Desert Camp, From Merzouga: 2-Nights In Luxury Camp with Camel Trek & Dinner., Overnight in Merzouga with unforgettable Sunset & Camel/Quad ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Merzouga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Merzouga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
