The best way to tour Ireland!

This experience was outstanding. Gerard picked us up on our doorstep in Galway and we spent 4 days driving down the west coast of Ireland, hitting all the best points. He is very flexible and considerate of our plans and ideas, while also knowing what’s best for our trip! His experience and knowledge is unmatched and really enhanced our time in Ireland. There was a perfect balance of driving/conversation time and excursion/sightseeing time. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Response from the operator: Many thanks for choosing to spend your holiday touring with Killarney Guided Tours. Your five-star review and description of your time on tour is very much appreciated. Happy to read that you felt your time touring Ireland with us was enhanced and that your tour felt well balanced. Sincerely, Gerard

Best way to see all parts of Ireland!

Killarney Tours is awesome! This is the 5th time we used them and have never been disappointed. Gerard makes great recommendations and when he can’t do the tour himself, his other guides are great! We’ve had fun with Gerard, Leo and this last time with Annie! She was fun, engaging, and accommodating. Any time we’ve toured with them, they are able to adjust to weather, conditions, and our priorities! Best way to see Ireland without the stress of having to drive yourselves!

Response from the operator: One of the highest compliments is knowing that despite having so many tour operators to choose from, you instead tour with us year after year. Thank you for touring with Killarney Guided Tours on this most recent visit. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next holiday. All the best, Gerard

The Heart of Ireland, Perfectly Guided 🍀

Our four days in Killarney felt less like a trip and more like a beautifully unfolding story—and Gerard was the heart of it all. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with such warmth and ease that we felt more like old friends than visitors. Each day was perfectly balanced—thoughtfully planned yet never rushed. We stood before breathtaking waterfalls, wandered through postcard-perfect countryside, and explored castles that seemed to echo with centuries of history. Gerard’s storytelling brought every place to life, blending past and present in a way that made Ireland feel deeply personal. One of the most memorable moments was a stop for a “proper” Irish coffee—warm, rich, and shared with laughter. It captured the spirit of the trip in a single, perfect pause. Gerard’s kindness, knowledge, and effortless way about him made every moment special. From his expert driving on winding roads to his incredible dining recommendations, everything felt seamless and authentic. This wasn’t just a tour—it was an experience we’ll always carry with us. Five stars hardly feel like enough.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking a few moments to detail your experience on one of our guest favorite, multi-day tours - The Luck of the Irish Tour. Knowing your time on tour is precious, we do strive to ensure it is "Your Tour - Your Trail" from start to finish. It sounds like we hit the mark. Many thanks for not only choosing Killarney Guided Tours, but also for your five-star review. Sincerely, Gerard

    Fabulous Adventure

My husband and I worked with Gerard to plan a custom 3 day tour from Galway down to Killarney, Dingle and Kilkenny. We had lots to see and do. He is knowledgeable, warm, professional and fun to be with. We enjoyed his suggestions for stops at the chocolate factory and sheep herding experience in addition to the well known tourist stops. His suggestions for pubs and music added to our adventure. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our time learning and laughing together. Do not hesitate to hire Gerard and Killarney Guided Tours. We highly recommend this true Irish Ambassador!

Response from the operator: Your kind words and review here on TripAdvisor is very much appreciated. As we strive to provide tours which are "Your Tour - Your Trail" from start to finish, we are pleased to know your customized 3-day tour hit the mark. Thank you for your review and five-start review for future guests. Sincerely, Gerard

Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.

How much does Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $3850 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.

Is Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Luxury 'Luck of the Irish' Tour - 4 Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dublin?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dublin?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dublin?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
