    Canceled us the night before

Paid in full and received confirmation, then the night before they emailed and said it was already full so we were being canceled but I had to request a refund to get my money back. By the time they canceled on us, there were no other classes available to book so we missed out on getting a cooking class experience during our trip. If they would have canceled due to an emergency or something that’s understandable, but this was simply because they were already full and didn’t update the website when they should have; no apology or credit given for the inconvenience. I would definitely not recommend booking with them when there are so many other options.

Response from the operator: hello thanks for your review. Unfortunately if you book the night before it is not always easy to organize a cooking class. I am sure you understand. Thanks for your grim effort to downgrade this experience.

New friends, new experiences, new memories

Loved every second of the cooking class. We started out in the herb garden and then moved inside to make lots of amazing dishes. There were six others in our class. We became instant friends. Chef Luigi is the best! Very entertaining and so talented. The kitchen was extremely clean and the staff were wonderful. Definitely recommend!

    Great time with Chef Luigi.

Chef Luigi is awesome. He is so skilled in the kitchen and the techniques were impressive. Lunch was awesome and wine was plentiful.

Book directly with chef Luigi not TripAdvisor or Viator

The tour operator told us to meet in Bellagio port but no one came to get us. When called the tour operator said he was no longer licensed to drive us to the restaurant. Chef Luigi went out of his way to come pick us up in his van. We had to wait two hours until the end of his lunch service at the restaurant for him to be able to drive us back which was very kind of him since there was a taxi strike. The class was interesting. But not very informative as I do not know what went into the ingredients and how long things were cooked for. If you want a fun experience and are ok with a long lunch, I recommended the class.

    Above and beyond

Enjoyed the cooking class with wife and daughter. Chef went above and beyond as teacher, entertainer, chef, sommelier and driver.

Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.

How much does Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio cost?

    +

Prices start at $229 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.

Is Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Luxury Cooking Class with a Chef in Bellagio start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lake Como?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lake Como?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lake Como?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
