    Disgusting

Worst possible tourist agent, 3 activities booked with them, 3 of them ended up with poor and rude communication from their customer service, utter disaster, slimy guides and rude drivers. Everything is a an absolute rip-off and you're getting harassed every step you make as they're taking you through all the possible bazaars along their tours in order for their so called "guides" to make some commissions. What a joke of an agency this is, there is no concept of common sense or professionalism or basic manners. Pathetic to say the least.

Private Car Tour for Two from Hurgada to Luxor

Our experience in Luxor in August 2024 with Egypt Excursions Online was overall positive, with some aspects that deserve special mention. The organization of the agency made the trip pleasant and full of emotions.Organization and Assistance: The trip was booked conveniently from the beach via WhatsApp, which made the process extremely easy and convenient. The person we communicated with was very attentive and punctual in answering our questions, providing us with all the necessary information. Another much appreciated aspect was the fact that payment was made online by credit card in a simple and secure way, eliminating the need to bring cash with us. However, a critical aspect was the fact that it was not specified in advance that, once in Luxor, we would have to pay $25 per person for a ferry crossing of the Nile River. This unexpected extra cost slightly affected the experience, and we would have appreciated more transparency when booking.Transportation: Transport from Hurghada to Luxor and back was excellent. Our driver was extremely professional and very discreet. During the journey he spoke only when necessary, which we greatly appreciated as both my wife and I wished to rest during the long journey. A very welcome detail was that the driver had in the trunk a cooler bag with cool drinks, which he offered us for free. This made the trip much more comfortable, and we enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to carry around an exaggerated supply of water. In addition, in the various tourist sites there is the possibility to buy water at a low price, which makes it even easier to enjoy the day without worrying about bringing too many supplies. Our Guide proved excellent, with a thorough knowledge of the history and monuments of ancient Egypt. His detailed accounts made the visit to the temples of Karnak and Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and other historical sites even more fascinating. His passion for Egyptian history was contagious and enriched our experience. However, one aspect that disappointed us was the behavior of the guardians inside the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Instead of watching over the respect of the tombs by tourists, the guardians merely made a brief illustration of the drawings on the sarcophagi and walls of the tombs, and then demanded a tip. Also, between visiting one monument and another, we were practically forced to stop at a local shop, most likely in agreement with the Guide. Here they invited us to buy spices and other products that, unfortunately, turned out to be of poor quality. This forced stop took some time away from visiting historic sites, which was a shame.Overall Experience: Despite the significant but not unbearable heat, and the small inconvenience related to the additional costs and some aspect of the organization, the trip to Luxor was a memorable experience. We recommend Egypt Excursions Online to anyone who wants to explore Luxor, with the recommendation to ask for clear details about any extra costs and unplanned stops before leaving. Thanks to the agency, we experienced a day rich in history and culture, which will remain etched in our memories.

    Great service

I have used the Company for all my visits in Egypt. From the transfer from/to the airport to the (private) visit of Luxor and Cairo all was great, on time and the contacts I had (on WhatsApp) with Kareem were very professional and fast. He found a solution for each of my requests (French guide on all visits) and even more. I can only recommend.

Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.

How much does Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada cost?

    +

Prices start at $192 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada take?

    +

Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.

Is Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Luxor Private Guided Tour from Hurghada start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hurghada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hurghada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hurghada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
