    Great experience

Pick up at 4am from hotel, air conditioning was patchy on the mini bus so did get a little hot but the drivers were lovely. Great day out in Luxor, visiting all the sites. Guide was really knowledgeable and had great English. Buffet lunch was included and was nice. Had to take a river boat to the restaurant for lunch which was an additional fee of £10 but was worth it. Really good trip and would recommend it

RIP off. Very rushed, avoid banana island it’s animal abuse and a ripoff

4,5 hour drive. Kinda long but worth the amazing temples and places. Tour guide rushed us trough most places, didn’t feel like we had time to really enjoy the different places. It would have been more fun to not have the guide. They also offered us to go to BANANA ISLAND, which I regret most. They keep animals there in bad circumstances, just to make money from Tourists. Nothing to see, just sad animals in cages. Made me feel bad being there. Don’t like the way they sold it and how the real experience was.

    trip was well organized

The trip was well organized. We had a comfortable minivan which wasn't packed to capacity, so we had a bit of space. Drinks were provided but the cool box was broken. Our drivers and guide were helpful and looked after us. The journey was a lot longer than advertised and we were late back but just made dinner. toilets can be a bit of an issue on route!

    Informative and well organized

My friends and spent an informative and interesting day in Luxor. Everything was organized nicely and the long drive wasn‘t as bad as I thought, since you could sleep in the car and there were some toilet breaks inbetween. Our guide and our drivers were very friendly and we felt safe with them! The only thing that we didn‘t like was that we were promised to see the wildlife on the Nile and what they meant by it was a short stop to see a crocodile in a TINY cage and a monkey that a little boy was carrying on a chain. It was sad and I felt bad for the animals! Other than that I can really recommend the trip to Luxor!

Response from the operator: So delighted to hear that you had a great time and so happy that we could help make your holiday a special and memorable time for you , I would like to mention that there's not Air travel from hurghada to Aswan! Best birthday treat 🥳

Absolutely amazing, loved this trip that we booked with Mohammed Said. The tour guide Caleb and the driver were really humble and supportive. Our guide, Caleb, constantly took care of us, ensured we were well hydrated throughout our journey. They would offer us snacks and water bottles. They also arranged a boat ride and lunch with the locals during the journey just to save our time. Both of them went out of their way to ensure we saw maximum places in least amount of time. Thank you so much Mohammed Said Tours for your services. We really enjoyed our trip to Luxor, and will always remember the time spent there.

Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.

How much does Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group) cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group) take?

    +

Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.

Is Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group)?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Luxor Excursion “Valley of the Kings” from Hurghada (Maine group) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hurghada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hurghada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hurghada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
