Luxor Temple
The Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city today known as Luxor (ancient Thebes) and was constructed approximately 1400 BCE. In the Egyptian language it was known as ipet resyt, "the southern sanctuary". It was one of the two primary temples on the east bank, the other being Karnak, Unlike the other temples in Thebes, Luxor temple is not dedicated to a cult god or a deified version of the pharaoh in death. Instead, Luxor temple is dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship; it may have been where many of the pharaohs of Egypt were crowned in reality or conceptually (as in the case of Alexander the Great, who claimed he was crowned at Luxor but may never have traveled south of Memphis, near modern Cairo).

Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which stand at the front of the ruined Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III, the largest temple in the Theban Necropolis. They have stood since 1350 BC, and were well known to ancient Greeks and Romans, as well as early modern travelers and Egyptologists, The statues contain 107 Roman-era inscriptions in Greek and Latin, dated to between AD 20 and 250; many of these inscriptions on the northernmost statue make reference to the Greek mythological king Memnon, whom the statue was then – erroneously – thought to represent.

(The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors and for recommendations King Ramses the 4th and the 6th tombs are the finest and the most colorful tombs you can visit in the valley of the Kings and you can ask your guide to visit King Tut tomb or Queen Nefertari wife of King Ramses if you wanted and they request additional fees.

Temple of Hatshepsut
Continuing on to visit Hatshepsut’s Temple at El Deir El Bahary. This impressive Temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut the only female Pharaoh, which rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs, On the return journey stop-off at the Colossi of Memnon, 2 gigantic statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile.

Amazing Luxor experience!
Our trip to Luxor for the day from Cairo was amazing! Karam was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. We felt very safe and looked after all day. Each stop exceeded expectations. Luxor Temple at night is gorgeous. At Valley of the Kings, we were able to see King Tutankhamun's tomb and mummy! We were also treated to a delicious Egyptian meal. Having someone specifically catering to us and what we wanted to see was really nice. We definitely chose the right tour.

I recommend this tour!
This is an amazing tour, the package is good. My tour guide Irene was knowledgable, friendly and allowed me to go at my own pace. While I didn't always understand her due to her English not being the best, she was still good. The food at lunch was cold but nice. The restaurant where I had lunch had an amazing view of the Nile and equally had amazing staff. Overall I still recommend this tour for what is included and the price.

Beautiful family day
We were greeted by a very professional super team. The various visits went very well. The guide explained to us all the secrets of ancient Egypt that we would never have known without him. He strongly advised us to visit the tomb of sethi 1 and the mummy of tutankhamen in addition to the program and he was right. It was really great. Lunch was a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet. In short I highly recommend this unforgettable excursion. Many thanks to them

Amazing tour guide in Luxor
Maichael was our guide for the East Bank in Luxor, we visited the valley of the kings and saw 6 tombs, we visited the palace of Queen Hatshepsut and we have a lovely lunch - it was an amazing day and the driver was also included, accompanying us all the time. Was really worth it! Maichael has great knowledges and answered all our questions and curiosities. We will do a tour with him tomorrow to Dendera and we cannot wait for it! Really recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
