Good tour-could be better
The tour included minibus from Hughada via Safaga to Luxor Temple, lunch, quick photo stop to Menmon statues, 3 tombs at Valley of the Kings, another big temple & am alabaster showroom. You had to pay extra if you went on the boat trip on the Nile, and Tutenkhamun's Tomb was not included. We stopped at a transport cafe. £20 Egypt toilet, so remember take cash. Prices were 50% higher than the tourist ship at my resort, so take snacks for the journey. Tour guide (Doah) met us at Luxor. She was helpful & had good knowledge of Egyptology. She lent me £20 to use the loo as I had had to hold it in 5 hours and stupidly forgot to go before leaving at 4:30am too. Do take cash for the loo! Lending £20 was more than the minibus drivers or other tourists did, and I really appreciated it. The meal was very nice, pretty similar to what whe get in my resort in a stylish place. The tour has a tight schedule and was very rushed. This would have been acceptable, had we not had to wait an extra 30 minutes on those who decided to pay extra to see Tutunkhamun's Tomb. However, we were allowed 30 minutes to take photos at the 2 bigger dites. Personally I thought the 3 tombs we did see were all much the same, and would have preferred to have seen only one along with Tutenkhamun's. I would gave paid the extra, but was exhausted after all the rushing up and down the first 2 tombs to accommodate the time limit given by the guide. Passing through the shopping street to the tombs involves hard sales and harassment particularly if you are alone or melanin challenged. It would have been preferable if the tour guide had waited and we had walked as one group, but we dispersed in the crowd and couldn't keep up easily. The alabaster showroom was a sales pitch. There were some good things, including moonstone & semi-precious jewellery that I wanted to buy, but I was too tired to haggle by that point, and it was clear coming to a good price would take some time, and I could not be botheted. On the way out, there is a lot hussling and trying to get you to buy cheap looking trinkets for €2. There are child beggers sent after you pleading. Again, the fact I am alone agrevated this. My advice is, find a tour that actually takes you to Tutenkhamun's Tomb while at Valley of the Kings. They you will not be obliged to hand about in the sun waiting after rushing round in the heat to keep up. All in all, the trip was worth going on despite some invonveniences.

Outstanding Tour - Thank you Waleed!
We had the pleasure of experiencing a Nile cruise with visits to Aswan and Luxor, and it was by far the highlight of our trip to Egypt, thanks to our guide, Waleed. His deep knowledge of Egyptian history, combined with his passion and ability to bring the past to life, made our trip special. What impressed us most is that Waleed is not only an outstanding guide but also actively involved in archaeological projects in Luxor, which added a unique and authentic perspective to our journey. We are truly grateful to FTS and especially to Waleed for helping us discover and appreciate the many treasures of this beautiful country

Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.
How much does Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada cost?
+
Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada take?
+

Is Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Luxor and Abu Simbel 2-Day Private Tour from Hurghada start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hurghada?
+
On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hurghada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hurghada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
