    Highly recommend!

Great experience! Was well worth the extra money to have the boat and snorkeling spots to ourselves. Tyler was very knowledgeable about all the best snorkeling spots. My husband and I got to snorkel as long as we wanted at each stop. Skipped lunch to be able to get in one more spot.

This is probably the worst tour I’ve ever taken. The captain was very pushy, kept trying to take us to a restaurant we didn’t want to go to for lunch. Lunch was not included with the tour so he was definitely going to be making a kickback if we ate there. Once we told him we weren’t going to be eating at his chosen restaurant, he got mad and was trying to get us to end the tour sooner than the allotted time. Also, we spent over $600 on the boat tour and then on the day before the tour we get a call that we have to pay $100 for fuel charges which was nowhere listed on the ticket. I argued with the tour company and also sent Tripadvisor an email and thankfully was able to get the fuel charge reduced to $40. Overall, I would recommend not doing any tours with this company. They don’t really care about their customers. I would recommend going with any other boat tour companies in St Lucia because there are a lot of other great companies were wonderful and very accommodating.

Response from the operator: Good day Suneha, thanks for sharing your experience with. You stated that we make some kind of commission from the lunch spots which is false. We only recommend going to lunch to fill out the time during the day. When we’ve take you to all the major spots and there’s nowhere else to go after we ask what you would like to do next as the itinerary is fully customizable and depends on what you would like to do throughout the day. About the fuel surcharge the increase is to compensate for the fuel burn in us coming from all the way to the north of the island to pick you up all the way in the south (about an hour travel distance). We did apologize for the late notice of the fuel surcharge over the phone and there was no argument about it. We came to a mutual agreement to keep it at $40 due to our late notice. Saying that we don’t care about our customers is a very bold and false statement to make as that is our number 1 priority and our reviews reflect that. I do apologize again for the bad experience you may have had but hopefully you enjoyed everything else St. Lucia had to offer.

    Such a wonderful day out...

Such a wonderful day out with Alvin and Tyler. They showed us many snorkeling spots, took us around the west side of the island, and saw the pitons from the water. They gave us a few options to tweak the tour to our unique desires for the day. We would definitely recommend them and Captain Cliffs day charters!

Great day out on the water

Fantastic day out in the water with Tyler and Captain Alvin. We had seen many parts of the island by land, but not by sea! The first beach, Sugar Beach, was a bit crowded, but not overrun. We changed plans slightly to have lunch in Soufrière which the guys accommodated swiftly. Tyler found us a great local restaurant an then we were back on board for our next stop. The second beach, Anse Cochon, was beautiful and we were among the only snorkelers when we got there. So many fish and very calm. A great day overall.

Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rodney Bay.

How much does Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rodney Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rodney Bay is not rushed.

Is Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 89 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 183 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Rodney Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach?

    +

Around 64 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rodney Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rodney Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rodney Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rodney Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Rodney Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wow Tours St. Lucia, St Lucia Highlights Tour, Good Vibes Tours with Dannyboy & Co. – Private Island Experiences. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rodney Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rodney Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
