    Great!

We had a great time on the Latin foods tour. Nick did a fabulous job explaining and putting in context the local area with respect to LA as a whole, with many tasty morsels and a lot (as visitors to the US) we weren't familiar with at all. Wonderful tour and definitely worth the money paid.

Response from the operator: We love that you chose to experience our Latin Flavors Tour during your visit to LA, and so appreciate your very kind words here. We agree that Nick is a great host and the food on the tour is very special; it's our joy and pleasure to share these treasures with our guests, thank you for being part of that!

    Nice experience, to be recommended

We joined the East LA tour and our guide was excellent: Nick knew so much about LA that we really felt lucky to have this experience with him. The tasting is pretty abundant so I would suggest to go there with empty stomach, but the quality of the food is excellent and "real". Next time we go back to LA we'll join another tour for sure!

Response from the operator: We are so delighted that you came all the way from Denmark (with roots in Roma, we understand!) to experience our Latin Flavors Tour. Nick was equally happy to share the time with you, and we love that you appreciated his compnay, and the authenticity and unique charm of this special corner of LA. Please visit and tour with us again soon, we're waiting to welcome you back!

Some of the best Latin food we have had in LA!

Andrew was our guide on this wonderful tour of East Los Angeles. We had not been to East LA in years and we saw it in a completely new light - and Andrew helped us in this regard as he provided a lot of historical context. We had some of the best churros and tres leche cake we had ever had and we have tried it in several countries! Then, we had some great mole and got to sample several different mole and pipian pastes which we had never been able to do. We bought a couple of kinds and look forward to creating dishes with them when we get home. We also especially loved the roasted goat (most of our party did not expect this and were not expecting to like it but we all found it really tasty. The tamales and pupusas were also first class. A great day was had by all and Andrew provided great explanations and commentary as we went along. Highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Thank you for coming out to explore our East LA Latin Flavors Tour and for taking the time to post this extraordinary review and recommendation. How fantastic for us (and Andrew, with whom we've shared your kind words!) that you came on the tour with such open hearts, minds - and even Latin travel savvy - to have such a rich experience of this region. We love that you dined and shopped well, and we hope that you will return to visit our cherished merchants over and again. Hope to see you on another tour soon, y otro vez ~ muchisimas gracias!!

    Excellent tour!

This food tour was absolutely fantastic. I was fortunate enough to have both owners of the company on my tour (Diane and Lisa), and they were so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The location was so unique and the food was amazing. Flavours I've never tasted before, such authenticity and history together in one experience. Definitely worth doing - a great way to see parts of the city you might otherwise miss too. Thank you Diane and Lisa! It was a truly wonderful experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you Melissa, for including our tour during your visit to LA and for posting these very kind words and recommendation, we so appreciate it! We obviously agree that this corner of LA is so very special and rave-worthy, and we love that you enjoyed the experience so much. We hope you'll tour with us on a future visit and, maybe even visit your favorite Latin Flavors in East LA again! We're all waiting to welcome you back.

    Tamales for the first time

On Saturday with Nick, we met a small group of fun, travelers. We went to places in East LA, that we would never have been to. The authentic, beautiful food, the food market and the mole ....wowsers. The goat taco and the pupusa were incredible. If you want to experience L.A as you never have this is the best way to do it.

Response from the operator: What lovely, kind words! We are so appreciative of your coming all the way from New Zealand to be our guest, and to explore this very special neighborhood with us, thank you. We hope that other travelers heed your advice ~ on behalf of Nick, we are so very proud and honored to share these treasures in our city with guests like you!

Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Angeles.

How much does Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Angeles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Angeles is not rushed.

Is Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Los Angeles Latin Food and Culture Small-Group Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Angeles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?

    +

Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Griffith Observatory Hike: Guided Tour through Griffith Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?

    +

March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Angeles?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
