Excellent tour

You will see a lot of Slovenia. Our guide and driver Nina was terrific - very knowledgeable and friendly.

Response from the operator: Thank you, David. You do see a lot of Slovenia in a day, and we are glad the guiding and the driving made it feel easy rather than rushed. We will pass your kind words to your guide. Safe travels onward.

Too little time at Bled...

Too little time at Bled Island and Bled Castle. Felt very rushed. No need to stop at the man made lake. That was a complete waste of 40 minutes. Would be better to include Bohinj with a gondola experience. Driver was great and very knowledgeable.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Anne, and we are glad the driving and the knowledge along the way still stood out. We hear you on the balance of time at Bled. The day follows a set route with the stops listed upfront, the lake included, so guests can see the plan before booking, and your note on how long we linger where is genuinely useful as we weigh it up. Bohinj with a gondola makes a lovely day too, on a different itinerary. It all helps us keep improving the day, so thank you for that.

Nina was an excellent...

Nina was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and willing to cater the trip to each of our wants. I highly recommend this trip.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Carrie. Catering the day to what each person wants is exactly how we like to run it, so it is lovely that it worked for your group. We will pass your kind words to your guide, and we are grateful for the recommendation. 😊

Spectacular Triglav

This tour is very pricey. Our guide Luca was very chatty and easy going. With hindsight, I would have booked a different tour. Perhaps Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj. However, we were keen to drive through the Triglav Mountains - which this tour offers. Lake Bled was disappointing because it was overcrowded with tourists - thus preventing us from enjoying the beauty and serenity of the area. But, of course, this is to be expected in Aug. We too also contributed to that crowd. Luca was a great guide. Friendly and helpful. He loved to chat. Overall - Slovenia is a breathtakingly beautiful country.

Response from the operator: Thank you, and we are glad your guide made such good company, chatty and helpful in just the right way. On the cost, the admissions are optional and listed upfront, so guests can shape what they spend across the day. You put it fairly on Bled in August too, the crowds are real at peak season, and a quieter lake is exactly where Bohinj shines, a good instinct for a return trip. We are glad the drive through the Triglav mountains gave you what you came for, and that Slovenia left such a strong impression overall. All the best for the next adventure.

Beautiful nature of Slovenia

We had a guide named Luka who was very positive and helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful nature of Slovenia and even had time to swim in Lake Bled. So this trip is more about the nature, being outside and exploring.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Ramon. You have summed the day up perfectly, it really is one for being outside, exploring and soaking up the nature, a swim in Lake Bled included. We are glad your guide brought such positive energy to it. Enjoy the rest of your time outdoors in Slovenia.

Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ljubljana.

How much does Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group) cost?

+

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ljubljana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group) take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ljubljana is not rushed.

Is Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 100 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ljubljana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group)?

+

Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ljubljana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ljubljana and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ljubljana: Lake Bled & Triglav National Park (small group) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ljubljana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ljubljana?

+

On Outty we rank every Ljubljana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Slovenia in One Day: Small-Group Bled, Postojna Cave & Predjama, Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle - Entrance Tickets Included, Lake Bled and Bohinj with Savica waterfall included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ljubljana?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ljubljana?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
