    Amazing experience

everything was well organized. the staff are really friendly. they help you with the border crossings on both sides. the driver, David even gave us some tips for our self tour around livingstone. Just a FYI the hike down had rocks and the hike up had steps but both require proper shoes and a good level of fitness for e.g. strength training but this is not a reflection on HSM. this is nature and cannot be helped for. We did the quarter day rafting so we hiked up before the others but with a crew member, Moses, even though we were only 2 people. He was really patient with me as I was struggling with the hike up. the captain, James is so knowledgeable and confident in what he does that I felt safe through all the rapids. It was an incredible experience and feeling safe made it enjoyable. wish I had booked a full day but there's always next time and I'll definitely book with them again 😃

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and balanced review of your Chobe National Park experience. We’re delighted to hear how memorable the wildlife encounters were, from the incredible numbers of elephants and close sightings of lionesses to the relaxing river cruise with hippos and other animals. Chobe truly is a special destination, and we’re happy it made such a strong impression on you. We also genuinely appreciate your honest feedback regarding the logistics and group dynamics. Cross-border tours can sometimes be affected by border congestion, and we’re glad our guides were able to assist by fast-tracking the process where possible. Your comments on coordination, transfers, and game-drive pace have been carefully noted and shared with our partners, as this kind of feedback helps us continually improve. Thank you as well for recognizing the friendliness and dedication of our guides, they always strive to deliver the best experience, even when challenges arise. As you mentioned, this tour is designed as a more affordable group option, and we’re always happy to recommend private or smaller-group experiences for guests seeking a more personalized pace. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back again, perhaps for a private Chobe safari or another adventure in the region. Safe travels, and thank you for choosing us!

    The best day ever

We did the whitewater rafting followed by the rhino walk. What an amazing day. The staff led by James were fantastic. I am a little nervous and fell out and James had me back in the boat in seconds. My daughters like the thrills and he found a way to make these more intense. We shared a great lunch with the guys and even my fussy vegetarian daughter was happy. Outstanding!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such an amazing day combining white-water rafting with the rhino walk. James and the team will be delighted to know their professionalism, quick response, and ability to tailor the experience to everyone’s comfort and thrill level made such a positive impression. We’re especially glad to hear that even your vegetarian daughter enjoyed the lunch , Thank you for choosing us for your adventure and for trusting our team with your safety and experience. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you and your family back again for another unforgettable adventure in Livingstone!

Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Victoria Falls.

How much does Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls cost?

    +

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Victoria Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Victoria Falls is not rushed.

Is Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Victoria Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Victoria Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Victoria Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Livingstone Rafting Adventure Victoria Falls start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Victoria Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Victoria Falls?

    +

On Outty we rank every Victoria Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Tour of the Falls (Zimbabwe side), Zambezi River Class IV-V White-Water Rafting from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia: Guided Tour of the Falls from Both Sides. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Victoria Falls?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Victoria Falls?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
