Started out great then got bad

It started out great, our group members arrived on time at our meeting place, we had our drink and guacamole and played 2 rounds of lotería. We walked to the arena and then he just abandoned us at the entrance, wishing us luck. We asked an attendant to guide us to our seats and directed us to the wrong area, we had to climb 4 flights of stairs just for someone to tell us we had to go back down. Anyways, an attendant took charge and walked us to our area. Our group didn’t sit together so the whole experience lacked bonding with each other. We didn’t even take a group picture. Experience for us was not fun as other people’s experiences

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our experience is designed to offer a memorable and enjoyable time before the show, along with an explanation from our guide so guests can learn more about lucha libre and feel prepared to enjoy the event. We also focus on providing excellent seats with great views so guests can enjoy the show to the fullest. As stated in the listing, our accompaniment ends once guests enter the Arena. Finding the assigned seats inside the venue is normally straightforward, and Arena staff are available to assist. Unfortunately, on this occasion, an usher provided incorrect directions, an unusual situation outside of our operation that affected your experience. We would also like to clarify that all members of the group had seats assigned within the same section. We are sorry that this confusion affected your overall impression of the experience.

    So much fun

This tour is a must, they offered us a complimentary drink, they taught us everything related to the fight and it was a lot of fun to play the lottery, I recommend buying a mask they are very cheap with them and although a tremendous rain fell our hosts lent us umbrellas, and they took care of us at all times I would repeat it again

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the drink, the lucha libre explanation, and playing lotería with us. Not even the heavy rain could stop the fun! It was a pleasure taking care of you, and we would love to welcome you back anytime.

The meet up spot was very...

The meet up spot was very nice . They give you a choice of your free drink which can be a beer or water and they give you chips and guacamole on house while you wait for everyone to arrive. They also sell lucha libre mask if you want to purchase before getting to arena. On the walk to arena they give you a small history of the arena and lucha libre. Seats were amazing with excellent views

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share a review! We’re delighted to know that we helped make your night at Arena México a memorable one. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back someday! 😊

Is Live Lucha Libre like a True Fan in Mexico City worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 100 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Live Lucha Libre like a True Fan in Mexico City?

    +

Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Teotihuacan 3 Pyramids Tour + Hotel Pick Up + Lunch at La Gruta, Teotihuacan pyramids morning or afternoon without tourist traps, Historic Center Essentials: Mexico City Downtown Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
