Avoid Secret Food Tours Miami unless you have time to waste
We booked and paid for a party of 7 through GetYourGuide, confirmation and payment clearly showing 7 tickets. Less than a day before the tour, Secret Tours cancelled on us, claiming we had only booked for 1 person. When I pushed back and sent them proof of purchase for all 7, they gave me nothing but the runaround. There was no attempt to correct their error, no accountability, and they essentially wasted the limited time we had in Miami. Then it got worse: I received an email from Get your Guide that Secret Tours had to cancel due to a "natural disaster." I was in Miami that day. There was no natural disaster. The only disaster was their own booking system and their willingness to lie about it rather than admit they made an error. If a company cancels on you last-minute because of their own mistake, own it. Don't blame the weather, don't ghost your customers, and don't leave a group of 7 stranded with no tour and no real honesty about why or attempt to correct your error. Poor communication, poor coordination, and a company that clearly doesn't care once something goes wrong on their end. Look elsewhere for a reliable Miami tour operator. If negative stars were an option, that's what they would get.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate you letting us know about your experience. We take comments like yours seriously, as they help us continue refining the experience we provide. We are also in contact with GetYourGuide as we continue reviewing the booking to better understand and address any errors that may have occurred. While it's unfortunate that your visit didn't go as planned, we appreciate you sharing your perspective. Guest feedback plays an important role in helping us improve. If your travels bring you back to Miami or to any of the many cities where Secret Food Tours operates, we would love the opportunity to welcome you on a future tour and provide the experience that so many of our guests have come to enjoy.

Great Little Havana Tour with a fantastic guide
We did the Little Havana Express food tour with Kayan and loved the whole experience! Kayan grew up in this community, knew a lot of local stories, was very dynamic and easily able to relate to my teenage son. He seemed very familiar and friendly with the vendors and people we visited, which made us feel very welcomed. He provided a great overview of the experience of Cubans in exile, and knew a lot about the foods and products we saw. Highly recommended tour with a fantastic tour guide!
Response from the operator: Some reviews simply leave you smiling, and yours certainly did. We'd love the opportunity to host you again with Secret Food Tours!

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $349 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 97 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Little Havana Express Tour: Hidden Culinary & Culture Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
