    Best day of our holiday

We did this on our last day of holidays in the Algarve, and was the best day of our holiday! Long day but well worth it, well organised, and well informed Was our first visit to Lisbon, but this taster has made us want to go back again!

Response from the operator: We sincerely appreciate your feedback and the time you took to share your experience. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future.

    Lisboa 💙

Our guide was the best! She was informative, articulate and so engaging. She pointed out the highlights of Lisbon so during our free time we knew which areas to go to. This tour is a must do, with little time in Lisbon and to get a good taste of the city.

Response from the operator: We sincerely appreciate your feedback and the time you took to share your experience. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Lisbon tour. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon!

    This is not worth the...

This tour was not worth the money at all. We spent around 6–7 hours on the bus just to visit Lisbon for only about 3 hours of so-called “free time.” Most of the initial sightseeing was simply viewing places through the coach window, not like other tours where u can see the structure on foot and spent 10/15min to take pics etc. The coach left Lisbon at 3:00 PM, which was not made clear in the itinerary. Had this been clearly stated, we would not have booked this tour. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not provide enough time to properly explore Lisbon.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. This excursion combines a guided tour with free time in the city center, and we understand that this format may not suit everyone. Your feedback is truly valuable to us, as it helps us continuously improve our service.

    Lisbon daytrip

Please make sure of pick up times as I was told to be at mine at 05.45 when in actual fact it was 06.45. As a solo traveller I did not like having to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for my coach. The guide was fantastic, very sorry even though it was Viators fault of time mix up. Thanks to her, I had a wonderful trip.

Response from the operator: We sincerely appreciate your feedback and the time you took to share your experience. We’re delighted you enjoyed the trip and that the guide made a great impression. We apologise for the pick-up time confusion, this is not our usual standard and we understand the inconvenience caused. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us improve our service.

Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve cost?

    +

Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 53 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve?

    +

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon Day Trip from the Algarve start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
