A great experience with a true professional
Marie was highly knowledgeable and professional. We encountered a walker who was dehydrated and quite distressed and Marie rendered assisted which I think saved him from a bad outcome. She is a true professional and a lovely lady. Highly recommended.

Amazig Lions head hike with Marie and Otto
Accompanied by Marie and her four-legged assistant Otto, we went on a wonderful hike. Marie is a warm-hearted woman with a deep love for people, nature, and animals. With cheerful Otto in tow, we climbed the magnificent Lions Head. In addition to expert commentary on the mountain and the surrounding nature, there was also time for a nice chat. Marie not only ensures that you can fully enjoy the hike, she also prioritizes the safety of her fellow hikers. At the top of the mountain, she surprised us with a delicious breakfast accompanied by breathtaking views. Indescribably beautiful... Thank you, Marie and Otto, for this unforgettable experience. We couldn’t imagine more pleasant and better mountain guides. Love, Koen and Liesbet

Challenging sunset
A very nice event. Jarrod our guide also added a bit of fun during the climb. We've had some interesting conversations. The hike was doable and it was not a race for us. Reached the top and an unforgettable sunset with a drink and snack. Top

Perfect Hike and Day tour
Such a great one-day tour with Monique! We explored the Cape Peninsula, and the next day did a sunrise hike up Lion’s Head. Huge kudos to the team for being flexible to accommodate our schedule from Sunset to sunrise with the weather. The Lion’s Head hike was beautiful and never rushed, and we felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Enjoying morning tea at the top was the perfect touch. A truly perfect Cape Town experience.”

Highly recommend!
I highly recommend booking with Klipspring Hikes! Both the owner and my guide were super friendly and prioritized safety which I greatly appreciated. They were also able to lend me trekking poles and a hiking backpack which saved me space in my luggage. Make sure to add-on the homemade snacks! Such a fun way to experience a sampling of local, authentic food.
