This was my third time joining this tour
The bike tour was fruitful. We were so impressed by the fruit market and the refreshing coconut water. We were a group of 12 people, and our tour guides, Nick and Vivi, took great care of us. They allowed flexibility during the tour while still maintaining good time management. This was my third time joining this tour, and I still enjoyed it very much - especially this time with my friends. I hope I can join the mountain bike tour next time!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! 🥰 We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed the bike tour, the fruit market, and of course, the refreshing coconut water! 🥥🍉 It was a pleasure having you and your friends with us. We’re especially happy that you’ve joined us for the third time! Thank you for your continued support—it truly means a lot to us. ❤️ We hope to see you again soon for the mountain bike tour! 🚵♀️🌿

Chiang Mai - Behind the Scenes
What a great way to spend a morning seeing the otherwise hidden sights of Chiang Mai. I was fortunate to be the only participant in the ride and my guide, Lek went above and beyond to give me a very personal experience. As an early morning tour, got to experience the buzz at the wholesale food markets and Lek kept me satisfied with fresh, tasty treats, and a fabulous lunch too. As a bonus, Lek was taking plenty of photo's through the ride, so I did not have to and promptly shared a link to access them afterwards. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had such a memorable experience exploring Chiang Mai with Lek. Your kind words and recommendation mean a great deal to our team. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure with Trailhead on your next visit to Thailand. Safe travels! 🚴😊

Ideal activity for family with teenagers
We spent a wonderful morning in the company of our fabulous guide who showed us all aspects of Chiang Mai sights and life. From temples to markets to street life to communities we saw it all. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide explained what we saw and shared with us many interesting facts about Chiang Mai and Thai life. 100% recommend for families with teenagers who want an easy but active day learning all about Chiang Mai and the Buddhist way of life. Topped off with a delicious lunch at the Chinese market. There was a small mix up with our pick up but they more than compensated with a wry warm welcome and free lift back to our hotel. Much appreciated 🙏
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed exploring Chiang Mai with us. Your kind words about our guide and your recommendation mean a lot to our team. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the pick-up mix-up, and we're glad we could make it right. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future! 🚴😊

Perfekt
We did our bike tour through Chiang Mai with our guide Vivi, a very nice woman who shared lots of useful information about the city and its people. It was a relaxed tour that I can absolutely recommend to everyone. Our tour guide took photos of us along the way, and these were sent to us by email afterward. It couldn't have been better. Thank you so much for the wonderful tour, Vivi!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your bike tour with Vivi. She will be very happy to know that her knowledge and passion for Chiang Mai helped make your experience special. We're also glad you enjoyed the photos and had a relaxing time exploring the city with us. Thank you for choosing Trailhead Thailand. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

Great way to see some of Chiang Mai
We loved our bicycle tour. We saw so many back alleys and parts of Chiang Mai we wouldn’t have seen. Our guide was great, answered all my questions and more, giving us more details about Chiang Mai. Loved our coconut pancake and coconut water at Worowat market. Wonderful afternoon, so worth doing.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! 😊 We’re really happy you enjoyed exploring the hidden sides of Chiang Mai—and the coconut treats too! Hope to see you again on another ride. 🚴♂️

Why this scores 84
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 80 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour?
+
Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does LIFECYCLING - Half Day City Bike Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
