    Wonderful craft class

Highly recommend. Wonderful experience with very talented, English speaking teacher. Our glasses are beautiful.

Response from the operator: I didn't notice your comment, so my reply is late. I'm glad you're satisfied with the finished product. Please take good care of it. Thank you.

I created a glass for my sister in honor of her dog.

You should choose this experience over ring making. I cut out the designs and polished them in a sander. The instructor was well versed in English and other Japanese students admired my work and clapped for me.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your recommendation. Cutting may have been a little difficult, but you did a great job. I heard you're a Cubs fan. I hope they win this year. If you come to Japan again, please stop by.

    Fun experience in Tokyo.

We had a great time. The process was explained and was very easy. the owner was very helpful and patient. It was an interesting process and the sand blasting part took a bit to get but our pieces turned out beautiful. There were many options and you can be as creative as you want. We did have a hard time finding the studio but the communication was great.

Response from the operator: I'm glad you enjoyed it. Anyone can make wonderful works with the sandblasting technique, so it's called "magic glass art." I'm sure it will be a great souvenir from Japan. Please use it regularly.

    Mahalo!

We had such a great time on our first day in Japan. We made a beautiful keepsake glass that I will cherish forever! Thank you so much!

Response from the operator: Sorry for noticing your comment late. I was glad to have the opportunity to meet you. Please remember this experience every time you use the glass!

    Wonderful crafting in Asakusabashi

Working with Mr. Nakagawa to create my custom design was a fun and rewarding experience. His professionalism and patience made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, reassuring, and always available whenever I needed assistance. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher/ sensei in creating my forever keepsake of my vacation.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your good comment ! I think it`s my pleasure. Please remember your glass-experience in Japan ever time you use the glass. I wish you both happiness. See you again someday.

Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts cost?

    +

Prices start at $8000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts take?

    +

Plan for about 1.7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 1.7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lets Make Cool Glasses with Sand Shaving Glass Crafts start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

    +

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

    +

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
