    Amazing! Must try!

Our bus driver (Green) did an amazing job! We were picked up on time, the bus was clean and comfortable and we were entertained the whole way there and back! The river rafting was also incredible.

Tourist Alter “Cheap Charlie” tour guide

I want to alert people about “Cheap Charlie” or “Green”. He is very friendly and makes you feel like he is trustworthy. Don’t be fooled, let me explain… We wanted to get local food like patties and jerk chicken after our excursion. We went over to a place that he recommended that was cheap and very good. We get to this place and the store was a tad bit cheaper then other places we have gone to. There was an employee who had left and we thought nothing about of it. What was weird is that that same gentlemen ended up at the Patty place. Well when it came to the patties, which I really wanted one, they charged us 600 Jamaican dollars, and 700 for one that had beef and cheese. Mind you, in American dollars that is about $4, when truly this parties go for about ($1.50 USD or less) 250 JMD, they tripled our charge. We let that go, but we knew something was wrong with the prices. We then move one to get jerk chicken, “cheap Charlie” gets out the van first and goes and talks to the store workers instead of all of us getting out the vehicle. This was just fishy for us. We decided not to get the chicken and continue our ride to the hotel, during our ride I asked him why they overcharged us and he claimed “it is tourist prices” mind you he had said that he is in the business for over 20 years. Then he claimed that it was too much and didn’t know. I call that BS. After tipping him when we got to our hotel I sent him this message “ Hey cheap Charlie, i just wanted to let you know that what happened today was very disrespectful. You friendliness and you kindness did not blind us to your true intentions. Thanks for the ride and all. Though, the whole 50% off, the patty, and the jerk chicken. You knew they were going to over charge us. Like you said you are in this business for over 20 years and you know what you are doing. Next time dont take people for stupid. Out of respect we kindly moved on.” Disrespectful and taking advantage of tourist. Would not recommend. This person at all, or be careful of what you decide.

Response from the operator: We’re sorry to hear about your experience and any misunderstandings you had. Please know that we don’t control how vendors set their prices, and our guides always check with vendors to make sure they have what you’re looking for before unloading guests. We’re glad to hear that your guide was friendly and had you taken care of, but sorry that the pricing issue from other suppliers overshadowed your rafting excursion and resulted in a 1 star review. We hope to offer you a better experience next time you’re in Jamaica.

Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Montego Bay.

How much does Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Montego Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Montego Bay is not rushed.

Is Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Montego Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Montego Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Montego Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lethe River Rafting Transportation & Entry Fees from Montego Bay start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Montego Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Montego Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Montego Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Montego Bay Airport Transfer to Negril, Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Private Tour from Montego Bay, Appleton Estate Admission Ticket & Distillery Tour with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Montego Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Montego Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
