Rude and unknowledgeable guides

Extremely rude guides who knew very little regarding the park. I was hoping for an informative experience, but I had nothing of the sort. There are better providers than this one. I would advise searching for these.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we do feel it’s important to provide some context for clarity, particularly as this review has been posted more than 13 months after the experience took place. You joined this experience as a familiarisation participant at no cost, with the intention of potentially joining our guide team. During the hike, our team observed that much of your time was spent engaging other guests in extended conversations about Stephen King novels and horror themes. Given this was a night time hike attended by three other female guests, this dynamic was noted and ultimately led us to determine that the role was not the right fit — a decision that, based on your feedback, appears to be mutually appropriate. For further clarity, the Lesmurdie Falls Scenic Sunset Hike & Graze is a two-hour experience designed to showcase a beautiful sunset, a curated grazing board, and a guided 4 km evening hike. This is exactly the experience that was delivered on the night. Our guides are highly trained, experienced, and consistently receive positive feedback for their professionalism, knowledge, and welcoming approach. While we respect that not every experience is the right match for every individual, we stand by our team and the quality of our tours. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and wish you all the best in finding experiences that better suit your preferences in the future.

Serpentine Sunset Soirée

We had a great time. My friend and I joined the guided Anji and Laura for the Serpentine Sunset Soirée hike. We started before sunset hiking to a beautiful look out point in time for sunset and were treated to a glass of fizz and platter to enjoy. We learnt lots about the local area on the way thanks to their great knowledge and spent a lot of time laughing. Would definitely join again and had a great time!

Response from the operator: Thank you Elora for your kind words. Anji and Laura loved hearing your laughter and seeing your enthusiasm. Thrilled to hear you had a great time!

Great entry level hike

A lovely little hike with stunning views over Perth at night. Our guide Maddie was absolutely delightful. A lovely glass of bubbles and a grazing board was a lovely way to watch the sunset. It was our first night hike and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a great entry level Hike which is not too demanding. Definitely give it a go. Steve and Helen

Response from the operator: Thank you Steve and Helen for sharing your experience and your recommendation. Night hiking is a whole new way to explore nature and we are happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed it.

Best way to see Lesmurdie Falls :)

Lesmurdie falls is always so pretty to walk but this tour makes it even more magical. Walking down to the falls for yummy nibbles and a glass of bubbles as the sun sets then walking in the dark with head touches makes you feel like your in a whole different world! Would highly recommend. The OTBT tour guides are always so friendly, kind and knowledgeable.

Response from the operator: Thank you Samantha for sharing your Lesmurdie Falls experience. We are so happy to hear that you found it magical and like you were in a whole different world it means so much.

Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Perth.

How much does Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike cost?

+

Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Perth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Perth is not rushed.

Is Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Perth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Perth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Perth and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lesmurdie Falls Sunset & Sparkling Hike start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Perth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Perth?

+

On Outty we rank every Perth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Optus Stadium Tour, Discover Perth Walking Tour: History, Art, Local Insights + More!, Pinnacles Desert Sunset Dinner and Stargazing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Perth?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Perth?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
