Cristina is great for families!
Cristina was a wonderful guide for this tour and tailored it very much to what our family needed. By this point in our trip, our 13 year old needed some hands on time rather than standing and listening time and this tour brought that. She could try out models of several of DaVinci’s ideas and really enjoyed this museum. The adults enjoyed listening to Cristina and talking with her. She is very friendly and engaging. She then walked us around the city a bit explaining the Duomo and the Baptistry at the Duomo and showed us other notable places and sculptures. I would definitely recommend Cristina for families as she is excellent at tailoring to the needs of various ages.
Response from the operator: Dear Mom2thegridertrio, We truly appreciate your kind review. It’s great to hear that Cristina connected so well with your family and created a tour that balanced learning, curiosity, and a bit of hands-on discovery. That’s the spirit of exploring Florence with a guide! Thank you for recommending her, and we hope to see you again on another Rosotravel tour. Regards, Rosotravel Team

Alex was a wonderful...
Alex was a wonderful guide! The only issue was we were given the wrong address to meet up but Alex came and got us.
Response from the operator: Dear Patricia_D, We love hearing that Alex was a wonderful guide. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. While the address confusion was not ideal, we are glad it was resolved quickly and that your tour stayed on track. Moments like that truly show the dedication of our guides. We would be delighted to welcome you back anytime. Regards, Rosotravel team

Guide was great. Very nice guy and knowledgeable. The tour was disappointing because we waited over an hour to get into the Duomo and ultimately gave up. We wasted an hour of a three-hour tour. There was no priority access and the Duomo stop should not be added if there’s no assurance it can be accessed. I’m going to request a refund
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re very glad to hear you enjoyed the guide and found him knowledgeable and kind. However, we’re truly sorry that your experience at the Duomo did not meet expectations. While we aim to provide smooth entry, unfortunately, due to recent changes in access policies and increased visitor volume, even groups with reservations may encounter longer-than-usual wait times. We understand your frustration, especially given the time constraints of a 3-hour tour, and we’re currently working on improving this part of the experience. Your comments are incredibly helpful as we review how we present this stop in the tour description to ensure clarity and transparency. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer support team regarding your refund request — we’re happy to assist.

We did the 4 hours tour, which included info about Leonardo, but also the other important artists and key players of the time.

We hope that you will use our services again in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back on another tour! Best regards. Rosotravel Team

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Leonardo da Vinci Museum Private Tour in Florence's Old Town start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
