    2. Lovrjenac Fortress

Before we ascend to the magnificent St Lawrence fort, you'll be shown scenes taken at the fort's foot. Lovrijenac was the glorious Red Keep in Game of Thrones, it's one of the tour's biggest higlights from where you have a fabulous view of the city, ideal place for breathtaking photos. Have in mind there are some stairs to be taken to the top, but the guide will not rush you, pace of the tour is relaxed, but if you feel at any point you won't be able to climb to the top, let the guide know so you can rejoice with the group later. 4. Lokrum Island Botanical Gardens

This was City of Qarth, Lokrum is also the home of GoT Visitor Center where the Iron Throne found its home. A great way to wrap the tour up with a photo from the HBO's Iron Throne :) you can afterwards stay on the island for as long as you'd like to, you can also have a swim, in that case take your swimming gear with you. Two restaurants are there and a snack bar. Have in mind to check when the last boat leaves because there are no overnight stays on Lokrum.

    Tour description inaccurate

The tour description said nothing about >180 stairs to reach the fort, 2 people in our party weren't able to complete the entire tour because of the stairs and amount of walking. We have used Viator for multiple tours for several years and requested a refund for 2, not the entire group of 4, Viator refused, extremely disappointed. Our tour guide was wonderful and expressed her concern that the description did not mention the number of stairs and the amount of walking involved.

Response from the operator: Hello Vicki_H, We're sorry your experience didn't fully meet your expectation. You did book the walking tour and the tour description mentions that includes the fort so climbing is somewhat expected. Also, the whole Dubrovnik involves many stairs , so if you go off the main streets, you'll encounter quite a few steps. Next time, please feel free to contact us a day in advance so we can organize the tour according to your preferences and abilities. Thank you again and best regards!

    Femi was a wonderful tour...

Femi was a wonderful tour guide! Her being a local and also working as an extra on GOT really sets her apart from other guides. We got to take a route that showed the best of Dubrovnik. Aside from her extensive knowledge, you can tell her passion is what really drives her to making this a great experience for everyone. We are very lucky to have had this experience with her. I highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Dear Chris, It's wonderful to hear that one of our guides left such a positive impression on you, it means a lot. Thank you for your lovely review, and we hope to see you again soon!

    Exceptional tour guide!

Our family has been looking forward to this tour for almost a year. The pressure was on….but Roko, our tour guide did not disappoint . Wonderfully organized, and eloquently given— all expectations met! Roko provided all the Game of thrones info , but also some local stories and history.

Response from the operator: Dear Tricia, Thank you for choosing us for your family tour. Happy to hear that we filled all your expectations! Hope to see you again in Dubrovnik. Kind regards.

    Our guide was amazing -...

Our guide was amazing - was making the experience fun and interactive. We loved the Shame stairs. And having the scenes to go along with the sites made it all relatable. The only thing that went wrong is that we ended up with just the GOT tour, had to do Lokrum by ourselves.!

Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 103 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour?

    +

Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Legendary Game of Thrones & Lokrum Island Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
