The best cooking experience in Delhi
I did a lot of research to find a unique cooking experience and Im glad I found it Malika’s class was so special and fun we cooked everything from scratch so detailed. She was so heartwarming receiving me in her home I learned so much she is so talented and she gave me the recipes to try at home. I will recommend her class 100%. Definitely will go back to learn the real techniques of cooking.

Book with Malika!
This was an absolutely fabulous experience! Malika and her husband welcomed me into their home to prepare several dishes I had enjoyed during my two weeks in India, so I could learn how to make them once I’m back in Canada. They went out of their way to give me a full, hands-on experience—from seeing all the ingredients and making the marinades, to preparation and cooking. I even picked up a few new knife skills I thought I had already mastered! Malika and her husband speak excellent English and are wonderful conversationalists. They both have a lot of experience in tourism and shared some great tips on what to see and explore next time I’m in India. I can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s incredible value for the money, and I feel very lucky to have ended my trip on such a high note.
Response from the operator: Hello Tim, Thank you so much for such a heartfelt review. It was truly a pleasure hosting you for those one and a half days—you brought such fresh energy and enthusiasm, it never felt like work at all. Watching you learn so quickly and dive into every detail made the experience equally rewarding for us. Those two days were genuinely memorable, and we would love to welcome you back anytime to explore even more. Wishing you great cooking moments back in Canada! Cheers Malika Zafar Founder of India Value Trips

Malika and her husband were wonderful hosts. Their home was very welcoming and their food was beautiful. We really enjoyed decorating their home for Diwali and having home cooked food. It was such a feast!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Adrienne, for your kind words. It was truly a joy to have you and your lovely family with us for Diwali. Your warmth, enthusiasm, and open-hearted spirit brought so much life into our home. The boys made the celebration extra special with their creativity and energy! It means a lot that you chose to celebrate this festival with us, and I’m so glad you enjoyed the food and experience. Wishing you all beautiful memories ahead on your travels — you’ll always be welcome back anytime. Warm regards, Malka

Amazing Cooking Class New Delhi
Malika and her husband Arunag were delightful hosts and made me feel welcomed. From the time of the booking until the dinner, itself, Malika was in contact to discuss flavor preferences and build a totally customizable menu. She was well informed about Indian cuisine and cooking techniques, answered my many questions, and demonstrated the various processes. Arunag was also very helpful and engaged in the cooking activities. I really enjoyed this tour, highly recommend it for foodies, and would do it again on a future trip the Delhi.
Response from the operator: Dear Gene, Thank you so much for your kind words! It was an absolute honor to host you and share our love for Indian cuisine. Your knowledge of Indian cooking truly impressed us, and it was inspiring to learn from your experience as well. We're thrilled you enjoyed the class and would love to welcome you back on your next trip to Delhi. Wishing you delightful culinary adventures ahead! Best regards Malika and Anurag

Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Learn 5-6 & Eat 9-10 Veg & Non-Veg Authentic Dish in a Delhi Home start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
