Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow
Less than 10 kilometers from the center of Warsaw, there is the magnificent The Royal Palace of King Jan III Sobieski. The origins of the palace date back to 1677, although in time it became a magnificent villa surrounded by phantasmal gardens because subsequent owners expanded the palace. Today, the Palace is a work of art, fantastic gardens, and sculptures in the park, as well as magnificent buildings and monuments. The residence has kept traces of former residents, their interests and customs, as well as a collection of artworks that they gathered here. A museum is a place of remembrance about events that are part of the history of Warsaw. Traveling to this amazing place allows us to touch what is important in our tradition and what is part of the common European culture. In the winter, mapping shows take place on the buildings – in the summer concerts and interesting temporary exhibitions

Excellent Tour! Great Guide!
The hotel pickup takes the stress off being “at the meeting place” Stress of Warsaw traffic and where to park at Wilanow and Lazienki handled by our great guide Tomas.. Ticket check ialso handled at all sites by Tomas. Beautiful garden grounds and palace exterior at Wilanow which Tomas explained in detail. At both Wilanow and Lazienki our guide explained the historical context of the two palaces. We toured the interior of Wilanow for over 1.5 hours, which featured special exhibits over and above the standard audio guides. Tomas patiently awaited our “overtime” tour of Wilanow prior to taking us to Lazienki. Lazienki is a beautiful park with beautiful grounds, The tour took us to the especially unique and scenic sites of the grounds. The palace buildings themselves were wonderful. Again we were not rushed as we toured the Palace on the Lake and theater. Our tour finished at our hotel at 1540. We were grateful for the bonus time and our patient and knowledgeable guide.. A good value tour!

A tour worth doing
Thomas our guide was friendly & informative. He was there on time for the pick-up. I was expecting a small group with us but it was only my husband & I + the guide so the tour was even better. Overal experience; a tour worth doing

Worthwhile, away from the business of the city except the weekends
This is a very efficient way of visiting other areas in Warsaw outside the Old Town. The selected sites are very worthwhile the time, taking half a day. Spend the other half in the Old Town and you get a pretty good idea about the historical city. Thomas could have been a bit more enthused though, overall, would strongly recommend.

Perfect combination and fantastic tours
We had an awesome time on this tour. First it was really ideal to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel and hit both of these further destinations in one outing. It would have taken us so much longer to figure out travel and navigation of each spot, especially the different sites to see in the park. And second, our tour guide was really awesome, providing us with additional information about Poland and it's history in addition to information about the destinations themselves. It was the perfect way to spend our first afternoon in Warsaw, checking 2 places off our list but in a nice leisurely fashion. Totally worth the cost and would highly recommend.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Warsaw.
How much does Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/ cost?
+
Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Warsaw usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/ take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Warsaw is not rushed.
Is Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/ worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Warsaw, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/ suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Warsaw can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Warsaw and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lazienki Park + Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow:Small group /Pick-up/ start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Warsaw within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Warsaw?
+
On Outty we rank every Warsaw experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover the Dark Side of Warsaw in Praga District by Retro Bus, Private Tour: Warsaw City Sightseeing by Retro Fiat, Warsaw for WWII Buffs - private tour with hotel pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Warsaw?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Warsaw?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
