Incredible
My wife and I had the most amazing day on our tour. Harry was fun and great to be with. He brought us to see the most beautiful sites ever. Harry also has a lot of knowledge of the area and you can tell that he loves this place by the way he describes it to you. It is so worth it. Do not miss out!!

Not to Miss Tour
What a fun way to experience Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding area! Our guide, Zuzi was such a kind and interesting person to spend the morning with. Her knowledge of the valley and surrounding mountain towns, the history of the area, the stories behind everything, seemed so effortless to her, but made the experience all the more interesting for us. Staubbach Falls were breathtaking and powerful! The picnic featuring meats, cheeses and even various chocolates from Switzerland made lunch educational and fun! This was a small, one of a kind experience that felt very special and we would utilize any tour through Zuzi’s company again because we were so impressed with her and her knowledge. This is a “not to miss“ tour that I would highly recommend to anyone.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful review! It was such a pleasure spending the day with you and sharing one of my favourite places in Switzerland. Your kind words truly mean a lot to me. I hope to welcome you back to Switzerland one day and show you even more ! Warm regards, Zuzi

Hiking heaven
Zuzi was a great guide- friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to make sure we had an excellent experience. The weather was perfect for a hike and not too crowded. My only concern is that for the price of the tour the transportation should have been included. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much — really glad the hike came together well with good weather and without the crowds, and that Zuzi's know-how made the day easier to enjoy. On the transportation: this is intentionally kept separate from the tour price, not hidden — it's stated clearly in the description with the exact cost. Commissions on this marketplace apply to the full booking total, so keeping transportation out of the listed price is what lets us show it honestly rather than baking a extra cost into a number that isn't really the tour itself. It also means guests with a Swiss Travel Pass or Half Fare Card aren't charged twice for transport they've already paid for. George.

Lauterbrunnen highlights a must near Interlaken.
Zuzi was an excellent guide and took our interests into account when planning the order of the itinerary. She was warm and cheerful and explained details of each site. The picnic was delightful with local products. She took and sent us many great photos of our group. For the cost of the tour, all the local transportation should have been included.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a lovely review! It's wonderful to hear you had such a great day with me, and that the little personal touches — the picnic, the photos — added to the experience. On the transportation cost: we're actually very transparent about this — rather than hiding it in the fine print, we state it clearly and openly in the tour description, with the exact amount, right alongside the tour price. Because commissions apply to everything booked through this marketplace, we can't include transportation in the listed price without it being taxed as part of the total — so we keep it separate and simply show guests exactly what it costs. It also means guests who already have a Swiss Travel Pass or Half Fare Card aren't paying twice for transport they've already covered. Worth mentioning too — with the US dollar currently weaker against the Swiss Franc, costs here can feel higher than expected for travelers from the US right now, which plays into this as well. Hope to welcome you on another tour one day! Zuzi

Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Interlaken.
How much does Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic cost?
+
Prices start at $290 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Interlaken usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Interlaken is not rushed.
Is Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Interlaken, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Interlaken can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Interlaken and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lauterbrunnen Valley Highlights: Mürren, Waterfalls, Swiss Picnic start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Interlaken within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Interlaken?
+
On Outty we rank every Interlaken experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mürren: Paragliding over the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Tandem Paragliding Experience from Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Trummelbach Waterfalls E-bike Tour Swiss Picnic. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Interlaken?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Interlaken?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
