    Throughout the two hour...

Throughout the two hour tour, we only visited one bar. Our tour guide could not answer any questions we asked about history or buildings. He was focused on sticking to the “script” of the tour. My friends and I have done other pub crawls and this was BY FAR the worst one. I’d never recommend this tour to someone.

Response from the operator: I checked with the other customers and the bar managers and they said Rick's tour came through. In fact we start at the first bar and another guest on this same tour and time slot mentioned the rooftop bar at the end. Did you leave early?

    Stories & history were...

Guide was really nice. Stories & history were good. Pub crawl was not. Only went to one Irish pub for 10 minutes. Absolutely no other pub stops. Was told at the very end that we could go into 2 bars for discounted drinks. They were nightclubs, not pubs. This is definitely not a "late night Savannah haunted pub crawl". It's just a walking history tour at night.

Response from the operator: So you went into 4 haunted drinking establishments and at 2 of them you got exclusive drink specials, but you were upset because only one fit an Irish/British definition of a pub? I'm sorry that the ghosts chose bars and clubs instead of traditional pubs to haunt, I guess? You're the first person to get technical about the subtle difference in regional definitions. In order to do a ghost tour/ bar crawl, we have to go into places that are haunted and that also serve drinks. If we were to be Ireland-level technical about what is a "pub" vs what is a "bar" vs what is a "club," then we would have exactly two haunted pubs in downtown Savannah and it's over a mile between them. However, we will change the title to include the word "bar" in hopes of clearing up any misunderstandings with those who might have a similar definition of "pub crawl."

The best tour I have been on in Savannah!

Penny Dreadful is an absolute gem!! We loved her! She is what a tour guide should be, full of knowledge, history, and whimsy- not to mention just a really cool person. The best of this city lies in its unique people, and we are happy to have met her. The experience was so fun, especially if you love history and getting those extra bits of back story that truly help you understand what life in Savannah was like at its beginning. The pubs/ bars we went to were really fun with great drinks as well. The city is so beautiful and a little spooky at night, so that makes your walk around the streets of Savannah even more lovely. My husband and I will definitely be touring with them again the next time we are in Savannah and of course asking for Penny to be our guide!

Response from the operator: Thank you and Penny Dreadful thanks you for your patronage!

Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.

How much does Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl cost?

    +

Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.

Is Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 56 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl?

    +

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Late Night Spooky Savannah Haunted Bar Crawl start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Savannah?

    +

Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Savannah?

    +

March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Savannah?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
